March 9, 201213 yr Helena's half Swedish, or born in Sweden, I can't remember which. Either way, she's always been a huge star there and every year there are rumours of her entering MF. March 9, 201213 yr Well turns out the Scandipop "pre-party" was nothing to brag about. It was basically Mimi, Daniel and the Scandipop guy spinning music in the background while the hotel's posh clients had drinks in the bar. Nothing special AT ALL. Scandipop hyped it up a bit too much. Either way I got to see Mimi Oh just inches from me while she was going around her friends(?) saying "Hi love, how's it going?". I had a Carlsberg and left cuz I've been awake for far too many hours to remember! Tomorrow shall be the big day: big mello final and big proper after-party! Woohoo! Time to sleep now! PS.: Rich, we should organise ourselves and come together next year! I'll def want to visit this town again for Mello or for Eurovision!! :D

I'd like to go to MF again regardless but I'll have to see what my funds are like.
March 9, 201213 yr I am absolutely 100% going to Stockholm for Melodifestivalen next year. So count me in! If Sweden wins Eurovision this year I can see it being hosted somewhere other than Stockholm though.

March 9, 201213 yr I have a party to go to tomorrow night. So I'm not here. It's late Sat night/early hours of Sun streaming for me (so I'm gonna avoid this thread until I've watched it). However, I've jumped even further on the hype train. I don't know why I wasn't playing Euphoria loudly on repeat and sharing it on Facebook, but I'm doing that. I'm just worried I haven't jumped aboard too late and it'll all come crashing down tomorrow night, if Loreen doesn't win. But she will win. She will win.

March 9, 201213 yr I'm very optimistic about Euphoria landsliding it actually, maybe more so than I should be considering how off I've been with all of my other 'they'll walk away with it' type predictions so far this year :lol: Even if the juries don't have it first, I'm confident that there'll be enough of a margin in the televote for her to win overall, I still reckon she'll walk that at least.
