Prime example for this would be The Saturdays - Notorious, debuted at number 8 before falling to 21, the only reason it didin't plummet was because the price reduction and it only peaked at #24 on the radio before dropping fast!

Exactly, it quite simply doesn't work for every release. It works well enough for singles by new artists a lot of the time though...

I mean when it first gets released....as for Notorioust - maybe its a bad example - was it really that good a song? A band like the sats would be best holding back for a fanbase high new entry!

Why is Taio Cruz so generic now, I prefer Hangover in comparison to Troublemaker but both are a complete let down tbh. I do like Dynamite though, I can never see Taio Cruz ever doing anything with an album, maybe top 15 but if he ever gets album sales with over 60,000 these days, I would be beyond shocked.
