They all have their own strengths. I have to add the Sixties. It's when charts really became interesting and independent producers came to the fore. There were also loads of pop music programmes on TV and fashions grabbed the young.

I remember and love tons of stuff from the 00s because I watched a lot of music channels. I'm always shocked at how much of the lyrics I remember and how many songs I recognise from the first few bars.

do you mean the picture thread that is pinned.

what do you think about starting a new one?

Yes.

I think it would be better to start a new one.

Can the pictures which are visible on the thread be copied into a new thread?

Yeah at the time I liked the pop and urban from the early 00s and I liked the dance with the whole retro inspired dance revival by the mid 00s. 2007 was mostly a poor year for chart music imo apart from The Klaxons' singles. 2009 wasn't great either imo.

My fave is definitely the 00s, early 00s.

Yes I like early 00s dance a lot now, didn't like it much at the time though. I really like a lot of the pop music too like Samantha Mumba, R&B like Christina Milian - AM to PM and the rock like Nickleback - How You Remind Me. Went down by the mid 00s in general imo, only the dance music and Gorillaz and maybe a few of the big indie rock hits I really like from that time.

I will take a look tomorrow and transfer what I can to a new thread

Good to see you back on the Darius Forum. You have a great username :)

I'll see if I can tomorrow. Could be I used an old e-mail and won't get in.

Photobucket had a massive crash a few months ago and that means you can't display pictures for free anymore, and if you want them back you'll need to pay like £300 a month or something. You'll need to host photos using a different site.
Thanks for the info. I did really want them back. It's my own fault. I vaguely remember getting a couple of warning e-mail.

Thanks for the shout out on the other thread, The Hissmobile. No-one-could be less diplomatic than me.

However, you nearly won a coconut!

Darius's paternal grandfather was the real McCoy........an Iranian diplomat and confidante of the Shah.

Words stumble out of my mouth faced with Darius. He just has to give me that look - the one I swear sees right into my soul. - his eye contact is so intense but so soft and kind at the same time. It's hard to describe.
