Hope she brings out a song that shows off her vocals for her next release. She sounded very good in songs like Say its Over and No One Knows on the old NDubz album

I like the song too, but I'd say a lot off teenage chavs will be buying the single when it's released. Not a bad thing just means it will have massive sales.

Yeah, I lolled when it jumped like 150 places to #1 on the TV airplay chart. :lol:

The airplay for the music video has been amazing. I saw the video 4 times in just 15mins a couple of weeks ago.

Could be heavily front loaded though i.e Dappy Rockstar. If she capitalises on the interest in the song and gets the promo right then yeah i think she could touch the 100k opening week sales

I'm going to be quite impressed if both current eras go well for Dappy and Tulisa. There seems to be a curse in the UK where only one member from a band or group can reach success. I mean look at Girls Aloud (Cheryl Cole, Nicola and Nadine), Destiny's Child (Beyoncé, Kelly seems to do well only when she has massive promotion) But I guess Tulisa and Dappy are completely different artists. It's like a budget British version of Will.I.Am and Fergie :lol:

 

Saying that I do like Young, it sounds a bit cheap but I hope it can do alright because I thought she came across very well on X Factor.

 

Also, interesting of the relevance of the lyrics to the song a few days after a certain video made it onto the internet... Hmm...

I find her to be hideous (even excluding b-o-job-gate) and the song to be hideous. Utterly dry, dull, soulless individual whose music seems to be, unsurprisingly, be taking a similar path.

She was in the Live Lounge, she covered Titanium as well as obviously singing Young, she was actually amazing at Titanium - obviously not as good as the majestic original but she has a damn good voice!

I thought her cover of "Titanium" was fantastic. :wub:

 

Everytime she sang the word 'titanium', she exaggeratedly (is that even a word) tilted her head to her left :lol: Every time!

 

But apart from that she did it amazingly! Better than Emeli Sande and Mary J Blige!

She has a decent voice and pretty tone but she's picked up some really bad vocal habits somewhere along the line... her voice in the bridge (ricochet, take your aim) has a really harsh quality to it. She should learn to reign the Americanisms in a bit because she sounds great on the more subdued verses.

Completely agree with you, she actually does have a good voice, she is just a little harsh with her phrasing ect. The violent head to left is really off putting as well, as it shows she is really straining but when you don't see her, the high note does sound bad.

Even though she does a very good performance of that song, i cant take her seriously with those fake teeth and that dumbass tattoo plastered across her shoulder..
