March 13, 201214 yr Author Top 100 singles posted, will do the albums in a minute. 'Give Me Everything' and 'Firework' re-entering surprised me a bit but looking at iTunes I guess it's just because of the 'Now That's What I Call Running!' compilation giving them each an extra version (this is also the reason for the re-entry of 'Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)'). No idea how 'Beautiful People' and 'Iris' re-entered though. 'Fast Car' was top 100 on iTunes for most of last week so I wasn't surprised at its re-entry but I still haven't figured out why it's back in the chart :lol: Very happy to see Kid Cudi getting a sixth top 100 hit thanks to Project X (so now all three singles from 'Man On The Moon: The End Of Day' have made the top 100) :D Also a fourth top 100 hit for MGMT. 'Someone Like You' has hit another low point at #57. Hopefully it can manage one more week in the top 60 at least, so it has 60 weeks in the top 60, which would match I Gotta Feeling's run (from its fourth week onwards).
March 13, 201214 yr Author Top 100 albums now updated as well. 'Doo-Wops & Hooligans' drops out of the top 20 for the first time (excluding when it was an import ofc). Also, after 164 straight weeks, 'The Fame' has finally dropped out of the top 75, just. I suspect it's in danger of dropping out entirely this week as a result of Mother's Day and the iTunes error that's deleted loads of songs from it (it had actually deleted ALL the songs from it but most of them have been added back now). The consecutive run of Michael Bublé's Crazy Love in the top 75 continues though and Mother's Day is only going to benefit it, with some people probably buying it for a thir consecutive Mother's Day... :lol: Edited March 13, 201214 yr by Bré
