Its weird isnt it because they were all such big hits but only one went to #1. They all did in US :lol:

 

I would've liked E.T. to get to #1 here. That's such an amazing song.

 

I still can't believe how massive it was in the US. It was over double the pop-bar of the #2 at one point. And it wasn't held back or anything. Really quite a surprise hit to me, since when I first heard it I honestly thought it was quite boring, and it's not that generic/radio friendly to be honest.

Can't wait for the Voice to start next Saturday, all 4 judges are performing on stage singing I Gotta Feelin' -_- BEPs for a #1 again :heehee:

WHY oh why is Will.i.am a judge on The Voice? He's released the worst top 3 single so far - and by far - this year. -_-

 

I'm looking forward to seeing Jessie and Danny on there though. I wonder if they will perform their own material on stage at some point? Jessie will probably perform 'Laserlight' or whatever her next single is.

Jessie S, The Script, Sir Tom Jones and an out of time Will.I.Am. (if X Factor performances were anything to go off) sounds horrendous.

 

Will.I.Am. might as well milk 'I Gotta Feeling' all he can. I still see the video occasionally on the music channels, and it's usually found somewhere between 101-200 on iTunes. It defines NU-Chasing Cars. :lol:

 

Then again, are the BBC really expecting high audience figures considering Britain's Got Talent starts the same evening?

I believe they have moved the start time to earlier in the evening so it doesn't clash. 7pm I think.

I'm pretty sure IGF is going to have some impact on the chart that week, where it charts is anybody guess... #2 for 7 weeks :lol: Plan B also release that week

I doubt it'll even re-enter the top 40. It was performed twice on X Factor last year and didn't really do anything.
