Katy's set to appear on Radio 1's Live Lounge for the second time on Monday, this time though she will be dedicated a whole set (so therefore performing 5-6 songs including one cover).

Oh I heard this advertised on Chris Moyles today, I had no idea she was going to be in the country! Hopefully she has some other promo lined up :)

I think she did a very good job. It's a shame that they were all slowed down, but it was nice to hear what "Part of Me" and "Firework" sound like without the glitzy production, and it was nice. "Thinking of You" was my favourite (a song which I think is fairly underrated as far as her singles go), and "Ni**as in Paris" was great as well :D I loved her continual taking the piss out of the BBC though, with Fearne trying to step in everytime to apologise.

What did she say about the BBC?

She kept mentioning stuff about the censorship and asking whether she was allowed to say so and so. Nothing major, but still amusing.

I suppose being married to Russell Brand gives her rather a good insight into the BBC's censorship (particularly on the radio.) :lol:

Haha, I love Katy Perry! "this is about to get real embarrassing" I love how she's not afraid to be silly and goes for something she really likes whether it suits her or not. She looks like she's having a complete fangeek moment.

I'm in love with this cover of Niggas In Paris - like she says 'this is about to get embarassing', it's nice to see her, as she always does, just let go. Was it a great cover technically? No, but I still love it.

oh I just love that performance, which is funny because I hate the original. my particular favourite moment - 'what she order, what she order?' 'WOO!' :lol:
