This section includes that man with the questionable sexuality who has recently managed to give it all away to be a massive flop (in the UK at least, Blame In On The Girls made #1 in Japan…). I was so excited about this and it is thus my favourite RedOne production, not the UK’s though. It is Mika’s lowest charting single (being outpeaked by post album singles off his last album that both made #72) and is the final track here to score an average lower than 6. We take a massive leap of almost a whole point to get to Alexandra’s second entry, the catchy but horrifically generic Broken Heels. This is probably her least remembered single to date, and it’s easy to see why. It was released after the massive Bad Boys, and before the almost controversial All Night Long. 6 of you claim to love it though, so woo etc.

Two AWFUL songs.

I've never given that Mika song the time of day before, despite being a total loon for him in 2007. It's rather good! Refreshingly different to his other stuff, but not too far removed. I'm not surprised it flopped though after his pretty disastrous second era.

Broken Heels above Start Without You? HAVE A WORD

I love that mika song, one of his best. he should make more songs like that for his next album, as it surely trashes most songs on his second album which was pretty awful. not heard his debut album though.

Start Without You is definitely much better than Broken Heels. As for the Mika song, I havn't heard it yet so I cannot comment on that one :P

Start Without You below Broken Heels? Really? The former is one of the most unique tracks the woman has done and the latter the most generic. I know SWY has its haters but that's disappointing. :(

 

As for Mika, it's my least favourite of his singles, maybe ahead of Love Today if I'm being generous. I'm not suprised it flopped in the UK. SEEMS to be a different opinion to everyone but I've never seen it as anything special.

 

And I even missed seeing Kat DeLuna come in at 20 before the break. That's a shame, it's catchy, if a little trashy.

Broken Heels and Start Without You are both amazing, I agree Broken Heels should've been lower as one of her more generic tracks though.

Lady GaGa’s second entry in this countdown is knocked out now. LoveGame was regarded as her weakest single from the The Fame era. It charted at a measly #19 in the UK, is her lowest proper single on this countdown (and she has a few to come. :P), and seems to be her forgotten hit. Personally I love it’s lyrical content and find the music behind it addictive, but that’s me I guess! Next we have Sugababes with their second to last single (let’s face it, Freedom never REALLY happened). It made #8 in the UK, making it their lowest peaking pre-album single I believe? Personally, although it is undeniably generic by their standards, I love how danceable it is, and have loved it from first listen. Rwo of you can’t see past its genericness though, and rate it the worst in the countdown. Also, fancy having a video with stunt doubles that look NOTHING like yourself? :D

Because On the Floor is awful, although so is Poker Face! :D

Considering Little Boots was the only one particualarly close to the Top 2 from the get go, it was the only one that even stood a chance. (In fact she's the only thing stopping a GaGa Top 3. :lol:) I do love Remedy though. :wub:
