No way will Maroon 5 be #1 on the Hot 100 (at least not until May or later). I think it'll be either fun. or Gotye next week.

I expect massive opening sales from Maroon 5 next week tbh, I think they might open with maybe around 300,000k+ which is quite an achivement for Maroon 5.

04. Fun - We Are Young

06. One Direction - What Makes You Beautiful

09. The Wanted - Glad You Came

17. Katy Perry - Part Of Me

21. Jennifer Lopez & Pitbull - Dance Again

30. Chris Brown - Sweet Love

37. The Wanted - Chasing The Sun

47. Ellie Goulding - Lights

78. Demi Lovato - Give Your Heart A Break

I hadn't noticed the big decline of 'We Found Love'. Only #97 on US iTunes now.

I don't suppose anyone has its Hot 100 chart run?

Sadly, even Bieber's 500k+ didn't let him debut at #1 but at #2.

I reckon Maroon 5 if they only pass 300k will debut at around #4-5.

They're on 1,928,000, so nearly!

Also, One Direction - 'What Makes You Beautiful' has shifted 1,396,000.

Thank you

You can find it here :D

Maroon 5 are (sadly) easily heading for close to if not over 500k I would think, certainly not as low as 300k.
Born This Way (The Country Road Version) - Lady GaGa #867 Random reentry (though i'm guessing it was sung somewhere)

Yep, Skylar Laine sang it on American Idol :P

The theme was 00s song, they used Rolling In The Deep, Bad Romance, No One (Alicia Keys), U Got It Bad (Usher), Fallin' (Alicia Keys), Born This Way and I Believe (Fantasia Barrino). The other theme was soul, but they're all old songs and probably won't be boosted like more recent tracks will be.

Rolling In The Deep back top 50 next week maybe?
In what world are "Rolling in the Deep" and "Born this Way" 00s songs...? They were both released in the 10s... "Bad Romance" is pushing it too.
Well they may have been referring to just the 21st century in general rather than the first decade of it but I do think it's an odd theme anyway.

Oh it was actually 'songs from Now & Then', so they did one from the 21st century and one from the 60s/70s/80s.

Way Too Cold (feat. DJ Khaled) - Kanye West  #39 - hope this can get top 10 like Mercy did

It won't; absolutely zero promotion, plus the cover might put some people off of it

True  his covers are always interesting, and this is one of his best imo. The artworks for the MBDTF era was just phenomenal though!

10. Somebody That I Used to Know (Tiësto Remix) [feat. Kimbra] - Gotye

Does anyone know why this is doing so ridiculously well?

Anyway, Gotye is back up to 0.85 and is almost #1 again combined (he is #1 combined with the Tiësto remix but then Maroon 5 have a second seemingly identical version in the top 40 for some reason which keeps them a bit ahead still).

The other version of Maroon 5's song is a clean version I think.

I'd also appreaciate any explanations as to why that remix is doing so well. I don't understand.

I'm thinking maybe it's advertised on the front page of iTunes, or it's heavily discounted, or some celebrities have tweeted about it on Twitter, or Gotye used it for one of his live performances, or a big radio station in the US has been playing it. Those are the only theories I can think of.
