But nice to see yet another British act breakthrough though I guess. The Brits really are dominating lately! :o

And the funny thing is, they're making it look so easy! Who'd have thought save for Matt Cardle, the other 3 on The UK X Factor would be cracking the US charts?! I wonder if will.i.am will push Cheryl's "Call my name" in the US as well.

It's the second British Invasion, full-on now.

Justin Bieber's "Believe" album is on course to net the singer his best sales week yet -- and the biggest debut of the year.

Industry sources suggest that the set, which came out today (June 19), may sell between 400,000 to 500,000 copies by the end of the tracking period on June 24.

I can't see why he wouldn't. Especially given the success Calvin is receiving with 'Feels So Close' and 'We Found Love' over there. They should credit him for the US version. I think she'd have a pretty, sizeable big hit with 'Call My Name' over there. She WILL have to work hard and promote on radio, tv and stuff over there. (Harder than she does here, that's for sure). It should be a little easier than it would have been if she was to launch with the last 2 eras, due to the whole US X factor incident, but she'll manage a BBH100 top 10 hit at the very least, imo. Maybe they're waiting for the US X Factor to start?

Hopefully not. USA are happier without her.

Jesus Christ, we already know that you don't like Cheryl's music, so you do not have to remind that every day ;)

'remind that' is this English?

I don't need to remind you about anyone. Never knew you were one of her loons... :)

He has a Polish flag next to his name so it's quite clear that English might not be his first language.

My name is not Leszek. Where did you get that name from?

I notice Nero's Promises is also edging up the iTunes chart... #136 or something. Why isn't Ed Sheeran's "A Team" going any higher? :(

Hi there,

Does anyone have a database covering all the singles that went Top 40 or 75 in the UK Charts from the 1950s until today?

I know I can access the charts online however I am needing a database in excel or word.

Thanks,

Leszek

That's not me haha It's my b/f

All these UK artists getting success is so good!!

Especially funny that a lot of songs (Rolling in the Deep, Dynamite, Lights, Glad You Came, What Makes You Beautiful, Want U Back) are looking to be BIGGER hits than they were here (I know some of them peaked lower, but including longevity, etc. I bet they'll be higher in the year-end charts than they got here).

Also, does anybody think Wide Awake will get #1 on the Hot 100?
