Glad Jennifer's holding up well, hopefully it'll start to climb once airplay increases a bit more. ^_^

One Direction - What Makes You Beautiful 90% :o

Can't believe it. Although The Wanted's single has sold more so far I definitely seeing this selling more in the long run. It's airplay is not even close to peaking. Probably Top 3 this week. ^_^

Looks like One Direction will go to number one on iTunes tomorrow, fantastic news for them as their 95% on Fun now.
Are 1D #1 when combined?

yes they are, One Direction #2 (0.9500) and #77 (0.0798) over (1.0298)

fun. #1 (1.0000) and #334 (??).

Wow at Demi. I didn't expect this to ever get as high as #50. Never thought this era would have another hit after Skyscraper!

One Direction are in red now but has no one mentioned this which they also performed on SNL;

31. One Thing - One Direction

Seems like it should re-enter the Hot 100 and they seem to be rightfully passing over 'Gotta Be You' and that 'One Thing' will be the next US single.

I didn't expect them to release Gotta Be You internationally after the terrible chart run it had in the UK :lol: One Thing is currently at #6 in Australia, outpeaking WMYB (peaked at #7) so it should do well in the US too

They've skipped Gotta Be You everywhere it seems, it has only charted in UK, Ireland and Scotland so far whereas One Thing has charted in most of the markets WMYB has. It's only in AUstralia that OT has outpeaked WMYB (and I can't see it doing so in the US) but they should at least another top 40 on the Hot 100 I'd imagine, perhaps even top 10/20 when the airplay builds up if interest in the group is sustained.
No surprise that they skipped Gotta Be You. I don't know WHAT possessed them to release that over More Than This or Taken...
Oh GOD, The Wanted's 2nd US single is HEART VACANCY :lol: It's actually my favourite from their first era but what an awful choice for the US market!

That's a very silly decision to release Heart Vacancy as the 2nd single. It could ruin all the momentum they currently have. I don't think any of The Wanted's singles are strong enough to follow up Glad You Came, so I think they should record some new songs to promote in the US, or they should promote a remix of Heart Vacancy as the single version. Maybe this one, which kind of sounds like We Found Love:

I was thinking the same with One Direction aswell, but One Thing seems to be doing pretty well. It's good that they missed out Gotta Be You, I don't think the song is that bad, but it's commercial success in the UK was quite poor. It's like if LMFAO had released Champagne Showers in the US after seeing it flop in 20 other countries beforehand, it'd just be stupid.

So glad that Kanye is up to #8!!!

I love all of the The Wanted's singles, so not fussed what they release. If they want to carry on momentum and play it safe they should release Chasing The Sun as it's really similar to GYC. Surprised they're not tbf
So The Wanted are not releasing "Chasing The Sun" in the US at the same time as the UK. :manson: What a way to ruin the moment, 'Lightning' would be a better choice than 'Heart Vacancy' for the US instead of it being wasted as a promo single (but CTS would be better than Lightning imo). CTS is actually good by The Wanted's standards, maybe because Example (?) wrote it
