Loving this! I watched the third episode first with my parents and then caught up with the first two afterwards, I love the fact that it's non-linear story line that re-tells the story from each character's perspective finding out new information each time and realising things we hadn't picked up on the importance of from before.

Good episode tonight. I really dislike Alan though - although none of them really deserved to win any of the money anyway (and as my parents pointed out, half of them will end up in prison by the end of the series!) I imagine the final episode won't have a focus on one individual, but round up everyone's stories (or it could be Helen's story, which is unlikely).

The fact the Thai lady had a penis made me laugh so much! The way his face suddenly changed from incredibly happy to shock horror, haha!

I don't mind Alan to be honest, he's not the strongest character in The Syndicate (and his on-screen son is an awful actor) but he's nice enough. This was probably my least favourite episode of the series but still great due to the humour highlights.

Really?! I thought he was pretty great.

What a lovely way to end the series; so happy Mandy had a happy ending. The domestic abuse storyline has been so well thought out - in fact the whole series has, just like last year's.

The finale wasn't as gripping as last year's, but I think that's because we'd already seen the majority of Mandy's story. I'm glad that all characters managed to achieve a happy ending though, and I agree that the domestic abuse was well-thought out (minus the detaining of Steve in the cellar!) I imagine there'll be another unrelated third series.

Omg that's so soon! I was expecting this to be September at the earliest.

I'll definitely be watching again; both series were fantastic but the second edged the first for me, which suggests that this series should be on point too!

Oh yey! Excited for this to be back, both series were excellent imo so hopefully this one lives up to them both! I didn't realise it had been two years since the last one though :o

This series stars Lenny Henry and will be set at a stately home. Lenny plays Godfrey, a 'gardener with Asperger’s syndrome', Anthony Andrews plays Lord Hazelwood, 'the master of all' who 'surveys at a once splendid country house rapidly descending into wrack and ruin', Elizabeth Berrington plays the cleaner, Dawn and Melanie Hill plays the cook, Julie.

Who's the man on the right? Not sure what to think about Lenny Henry, not seen him acting in anything but nice to see the two former-Waterloo Road actresses are in this.

Lenny Henry has gained some excellent reviews as a serious stage actor.

Not sure what part of Scarborough they found that place! And it's odd how excited you get for a fictional group to win the lottery. :P
I enjoyed that. It was nice to see Roy Cropper's future girlfriend with a smile on her face.
There was a strong hint of problems to come as they did not have a formal syndicate agreement.

If Dawn, who bought the ticket, dies within seven years, the amounts she gave to the other members (apart from her husband) count as gifts and are subject to inheritance tax.

I enjoyed the first episode, thought Lenny Henry was very good actually!

I guess we'll see from the second episode but it seems as though they've changed the format and it's not going to focus on a different character each week. I suppose the reason is that you have the family who own the stately home who are not part of the syndicate but are still important characters!

Poor Godfrey :(

The way that they're treating the disappearance makes me think/hope it's not the obvious thing of her boyfriend killing/abducting her. I wonder why the guy didn't want to go public though!
