It was an April Fool's Joke. How HILARIOUS, my sides are splitting.

 

Easily up there with the worst and least funny I've ever seen. As I said before, it will have likely driven a lot of guests away and many existing members will have already signed up to other forums in the meantime, which they could potentially prefer and migrate to. Or members might have spent hours backing up various charts, threads and other stuff unnecessarily.

I'm not laughing at such a bad joke, you wouldn't kill a site off that has valuable chart information on the web. -_-

Well joke's on them anyway - as Rich said they could potentially lose posters because of this. Not even vaguely funny at all tbh.

We had a fantastic April Fool's joke planned but because of this we scrapped the idea incase this was true. I had my doubts and I was correct. :(

However,

 

it got everyone talking about the site on many different forums, particularly that UKMIX is the source of a lot of the data used on many different sites.

 

I think it will actually increase traffic in the long run :lol:
