Go Adele... again  Really wasn't expecting this repeat to have much effect at all (on her singles at least).

Random question but is there an easter boost?

Only for albums, and even then, mostly just for physical sales.

This may have been noticed already but the fake versions of Fun (We are Young) have been deleted again. Just don't understand why the label just doesn't release it. Other fake versions will begin climbing again in the coming days.

No point in releasing a big single midweek - if it's *got* to be brought forward, then best to release it Saturday midnight, so you don't split its peak salea across 2 chart weeks.

I know this is the most unlikely thing ever but what would happen if two songs in the top 75 sold the same amount of sales?

It's actually quite common, especially outside the top 75, but the OCC have some complex method of breaking such ties.

 18 Nicki Minaj - Starships

Starting to climb back up. Hopefully it gets back top 10 soon, it must losing a few sales from the Top 10 effect.

 49 Nicki Minaj - Pound The Alarm

Amazing song! Glad it's highest out her album tracks!

Except to maximise sales, as we've already established several times.

Sadly, it's not 'up' to 49, because it was at 45 last night :(

"We Are Young" has been available on Amazon for 89p for ages; amazing how not being available on iTunes means it doesn't sell enough copies to chart!

LOVE this

can't believe it that 'Next To Me' is still top 10 on iTunes

Just because Starships has been deleted. :(

54. Labrinth ft. Tinie Tempah, Kano, Wretch 32 & Busta Ryhmes - Earthquake - I hope this gets played on the chart show, it's amazing.

63. David Guetta ft. Sia - Titanium (Alesso Remix)

94. Nicki Minaj ft. Chris Brown - Right By My Side

100. Kanye West ft. Big Sean, Pusha T & 2 Chainz - Mercy - :w00t: :w00t: :cheer:

429. Ed Sheeran - Drunk (Lazy Jay's Wasted in London Remix) - Just realized Lazy Jay is the artist that features on 212.

432. Flo Rida ft. T-Pain - Low - I know everybody established this in 2008, but the longevity of this song is still mind-blowing to me.

506. Katy Perry - Wide Awake

562. Sean Paul ft. Kelly Rowland - How Deep is Your Love

762. Gotye - Eyes Wide Open

857. Carly Rae Jepsen - Talk To Me

Does anybody else feel sorry for Kano? He's been on two high-selling tracks recently, but they're both remixes, so he gets credited for neither of them. :drama:

And Next to Me is much better than Starships. I hope they delete the album version too.

10. Nicki Minaj - Starships

12. Emeli Sande - Next To Me

36. Train - Drops Of Jupitar

43. Adele - Someone Like You

58. Rainbow Mix - We Are Young

Why is 'Drops Of Jupiter' so high up again? Not that I am complaining, one of my all time favourite songs. I am guessing its in the 59p batch?
Luckily for Starships the album version was already near the top 40, so it made a swift return to the top 10
Kinda annoys me how some songs are always destined to have a frontloaded chart run, no matter how good they are, purely because of the artist releasing it. 'Bright Lights' is pretty damn good yet I think EVERYONE knew it would be yet another "peak top ten then plummet" run.

Well that doesn't apply to 'Bright Lights' which is an absolutely terrible song and embarrasses Pixie more. Run-of-the-mill melody, sub-par production as always, dire lyrics...need I go on?

Deee-Lite's 'Groove Is In The Heart' sold the same amount of copies as another song (that I can't remember) and was therefore "joint #1". Although, due to chart laws at the time, the song I can't remember was that week's #1 with Deee-Lite settling for #2. I can't remember why though. I think it was to do with who increased their sales the most from the previous week - although I doubt it because what if they were both new entries?

Kanye West ft. Big Sean, Pusha T & 2 Chainz - Mercy  #85
I hate the iTunes chart at the moment, there are far too many multiple versions of songs. It would be much better if they did a combined chart!

Do you think What Do You Take Me For? has sub-par production? :o
