Can't believe TMWCBM is still rising up after being used on The Voice over 3 days ago. I thought it would have started falling by now, I am really glad it isn't freefalling though, would love it to re-enter as high as possible.

 

Ah, just realised it is in the 59p batch of songs as well. Clever move there to make sure it's boost is kept up.

It seems that the 59p reduction has given "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" a legitimate shot at the top 10 on itunes! It's about 3% away and looks to be climbing quite steadily :yahoo:

Singles is dominated by iTunes, although we don't have exact numbers AFAIK. There are some cases when iTunes doesn't correspond to the chart perfectly. Albums could be anything. Supermarkets, actual music shops, Amazon, digital etc etc. Much more diverse range of places to buy from.

Maybe 120k this week and more next? Still doing over double Sean Paul who should sell 55-60k again this week. Imagine it wasnt released until 22/4!! :rolleyes: This year has basically shown that a different variation of OA/OS is being demanded by music fans!!

 

Anyone have the record company Fun is being released under in the uk - we should tweet them showing the fakes position on itunes, maybe it will convince them to release next week!

Be careful I followed Digital sales data, and the start of the week is always much stronger than the other days from Tuesday on.

 

I'm pretty sure she won't reach 100k in the end, but could be near.

My guess is that they'll have new material ready towards the end of the season, to perform live at the live finals a la Maoon 5.

 

And by the way they're not really plugging it, someone happened to sing it on the show (weird thing is, the guy didn't go through IIRC!)

He did! Both Danny and Will turned around :P You may be thinking of "Drops of Jupiter" from last week's show, which got to #53 on the official chart even though the guy who performed it didn't get through.
