April 9, 201213 yr Great to see ABBA in the top three of all time, having Eurovision after winning Melodifestivalen, there's hope for Loreen yet :w00t:
April 9, 201213 yr Let us join together and listen to the masterpiece that is "A Day In The Life". :D       Edited April 9, 201213 yr by Griff
April 9, 201213 yr Like Spice Girls, I generally can't stand ABBA (prepares for flamestorm) @£%&!
April 9, 201213 yr It's strange to see The Beatles have just one entry in the entire top 40 (well, 2 but only one studio album) considering what an iconic and all-conquering band they are. Made even more bizarre by the fact that that one studio album is the highest selling studio album of all time full stop. Elvis Presley is also curiously missing from this list. SPLHCB is of course a complete classic and the ultimate example of an album that everyone knows even if they haven't listened to it.
April 9, 201213 yr Let us join together and listen to the masterpiece that is "A Day In The Life". :D       It's a fantastic track!

April 9, 201213 yr 01. GREATEST HITS- Queen http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/0/02/Queen_Greatest_Hits.png RELEASED: 1981 PEAK POSITION: 1 WKS ON CHART: 496 Naturally the best selling album of all time in the UK is this greatest hits set from the one of the greatest rock bands of all time. Some sales are culled from the combined package issued in 2000 which saw sales move over the 5 million mark in the noughties, it was also the 4th biggest selling album of the 80s, the 40th best seller of the 90s and the 195th of the 00s (as a standalone product). zO6D_BAuYCI&ob=av2e
April 9, 201213 yr Did everyone enjoy listening to "A Day In The Life"? :D -x- Disappointed they didn't play Bohemian Rhapsody. :(
April 9, 201213 yr Thanks everyone for your company through the thread which was dramatically underprepared!! :D :o
April 9, 201213 yr As I said earlier, not a fan of Queen. Bohemian Rhapsody is obviously one of THE greatest rock songs ever, and a classic song full stop - one of those songs EVERYBODY knows!
April 9, 201213 yr As I already said in this thread, I prefer the tracklisting of this to that of GHII. I assume Radio 2 must be playing Bohemian Rhapsody? It wouldn't make any sense to play anything else :D EDIT: Oh, they're not? Hmph. Edited April 9, 201213 yr by M.I.É.
April 9, 201213 yr Disappointed they didn't play Bohemian Rhapsody. :( That would have been the best way to end the show!
April 9, 201213 yr Thanks everyone for your company through the thread which was dramatically underprepared!! :D :o Looked OK to me. :D
April 9, 201213 yr Where was jagged little pill, I thought that would be near come on over on the list?
April 9, 201213 yr Where was jagged little pill, I thought that would be near come on over on the list? It went out, It had sold 2,600,479 on the Chart updated in June 2009
April 9, 201213 yr Where was jagged little pill, I thought that would be near come on over on the list? It was No.31 in the 2006 list so must have been outsold now by 10 more albums.
