ARGH Eric, once again, for me "frontloaded" means that a new release has quite high sales in the first couple of days but than it plummets down to a sales below average. Like for example McFly's singles.

If they recover a bit some weeks later because of for example a 59p promo and it jumps back into the top 10 I would call them frontladed in the first week but recovered after that. :D

What do you call a song that stays stable in its first week, and free-falls after that?

If this thread's just going to become "define frontloaded" and result in pages worth of discussion, you'd be better off starting a separate thread for it.

16. Usher 'Climax'

61. Breathe Carolina 'Blackout'

91. Alex Day 'Lady Godiva'

For example?

BTW I think I explained my point, you can read back :P

Eric, drop it. Back to itunes please.

I agree! And it also spent two weeks at #1, not what I could call frontloaded.

That's like saying Shayne Ward 'That's My Goal' wasn't front-loaded as it spent more than 1 week at #1, despite its sales dropping from 742,180 to 132,284...

That's a different story though as it was the winner of X factor and everyone rushed to the shops to buy his song :D

Alex Day - Forever Yours, actually peaked on Sunday before free falling on iTunes on Sunday Night, It dropped out of the top 100 on iTunes within Sunday but managed to climb back into the top 50 last night.

Lady Godiva :kink:

07. Katy Perry 'Part of Me'

08. Azealia Banks '212 (feat. Lazy Jay)'

With Labrinth, Emeli Sande, Flo Rida and David Guetta all receiving Now 81 boosts, '212' could well find itself short of the top 10 again - especially with 'Climax' likely to be a second new entry.

11. Usher 'Climax'

21. Sway 'Level Up (Radio Edit)'

43. Otis Redding 'Sittin' On (The Dock of the Bay)'

44. Kanye West 'Mercy (feat. Big Sean, 2 Chainz & Pusha T)'

53. Breathe Carolina 'Blackout'

Carly still holding onto #1!! :cheer:

Hopefully she can stay there as long as possible! :D

10. Usher 'Climax'

11. David Guetta 'Titanium (feat. Sia)'

Usher'll have to climb a few more places if he's too ensure a top 10 placing - 'Titanium' and 'Wild Ones' both have the addition of a second (third in Guetta's case) version charting in the top 50.

20. Sway - Level Up - They're playing this on Radio 1 now!!!!!! :w00t: Come on guys, let's support UK talent! I hope Flux Pavilion and Kelsey get credited officially.

135. Usher ft. Ludacris & Lil Jon - Yeah! - CLASSIC

215. Justin Bieber ft. Ludacris - Baby

275. Labrinth ft. Emeli Sande - Beneath Your Beautiful

389. Nicki Minaj ft. 2 Chainz - Beez in the Trap - Nice to see the music video has given this a boost. Beautiful song.

450. 50 Cent - In Da Club

465. Lady Gaga - Bad Romance

820. Sway ft. JME - Level Up - The remix. JME's done so well considering he hasn't got a major record deal. Not doing as well as Kano's remix of Still Speedin' did.

963. Lethal Bizzle ft. JME & Fire Camp - Leave It Yeah

982. The Script - I'm Yours

Kworb Update

01 (1.0000) Carly Rae Jepsen 'Call Me Maybe'

04 (0.4625) Nicki Minaj 'Starships'

05 (0.4375) Sean Paul 'She Doesn't Mind'

06 (0.3514) David Guetta 'Titanium (feat. Sia)' [3 versions]

12 (0.2530) Jessie J 'Domino' [2 versions]

13 (0.2494) Usher 'Climax'

14 (0.2208) The Script 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved'

15 (0.2031) Jay-Z & Kanye West 'N***as in Paris'

Going by this, Usher has quite a bit to catch up on if it's going to get into the top 10 - though Katy Perry/Azealia Banks is looking the most likely to be pushed down to #11 officially if 'Climax' does manage it's way into the top 10.

Justin Bieber should get to #1 by the end of today, unless he starts to fall already.

Good to see Climax in the top 10 at least, fingers crossed it can overtake Bieber by the end of the week.

Bieber still not being #1 is a positive sign that he may stall at #2.

Sway at #19, I really hope this can go top 10.

Breathe Carolina at #42, should go top 40 then! I still think it should have been released ages ago though.

I'll try and do a top 100 update shortly.

Carly wasn't number one by this time last week either, though.

Really hope Usher can keep on climbing. Thought it would be higher than this by now. -_-

Carly wasn't released at midnight Sunday though...was she?
