But was #9 or #10 officially in the first update. I remember, the presenter before one of her performances congratulated her on the 'likely top 10 single' come Sunday. She would've peaked at #11 too - but darn Ke$ha and the trashy 'Blah Blah Blah' proved a mid-week success (as high as #3 on iTunes!).

Ah stupid me. Didn't read the question properly Haha.

Quite an exciting top 5 going on for once. A massive hit of a #1 that is maintaining a massive lead, a fantastic song finally getting some recognition due to a reality tv show, an early release that should only grow in popularity in the coming weeks, a new release this week and another song that is already doing massive things even though its airplay is very small, only due to its video premiering. They all seem like massive hits, instead of songs that will manage six weeks top 40 (well, maybe John Legend but thats understandable with a TV show boost).
If B.o.B knocks Bieber out of the top 10 then I'll love every song in there apart from LaserLight which I haven't yet heard!

Laserlight is Titanium part 2

It looks like Marina has a chance of top 10! :cheer:
If Marina goes top 10 it *might* make up for the TRAVESTY that was "Hollywood" missing the top 10!

not a fan I presume?

-x-

Good to see Marina doing better than I though, hopefully this can hang on to top 20, its miles better than Radioactive so deserves a better peak. I quite like the Conor Maynard song as well, although out of the top 4, its the one I'd least like to be number 1

Blah Blah Blah should never have been released, its too trashy even for Kesha :puke:

I love it. And I find when I see people complaining about how awful chart music is, Blah Blah Blah is often a song that gets brought up, so it's fulfilled its purpose as a song. I think it's really a song you have to be in a certain mindset to listen to.

And it's funny on a different level aswell, since the things she says about men in those songs are pretty much a reflection of some of the degrading things said about women in some songs.

Kate Bush might overtake Maxwell's top version soon.

Conor at #3 :D Hopefully #2 soon and then #1 at some point tomorrow (although I wouldn't mind Carly holding him off because CMM will almost certainly sell way more overall and I like both songs as much as each other pretty much).

Anything in the top 5 should reflect the amount of hype Conor Maynard has been generating for the good part of 2011 and now 2012. It's a good song, I'm not going to deny it, but put next to 'Call Me Maybe' and the incredible 'We Are Young' and 'Somebody That I Used to Know', it doesn't sound deserving of the #1 spot - I'm routing for Carly Rae Jepsen grabbing a third week - or perhaps fun. climbing up and stealing #1.

Do you have tourettes? I see multiple posts from you with expletives in!

PLEASE STOP!

Yes i have tourettes, problem with that?

Great to see Conor doing well but not being the instant number one we all thought he'd be. Carly has sold 110k this week, more than last week :o Hopefully she can stay on top for week 3 with Conor debuting at #2 (preferably with higher sales than what Bieber did)

Primadonna already at #16 made my day.

She deserves a top 10 place next sunday.
