I don't think it's that close - maybe 900-925k. It sells at a steady 900-1000/wk even when it's not reduced to 59p, though.

I think IDWTMAT will definitely pass the million mark fairly soon, maybe by the end of the year. I'm surprised to see it going this high with the 59p reduction, the last time it got reduced it didn't get near this high - maybe it's more prominent on the list this time. (Same applies to The Fray).

'How To Save A Life' is bloody horrible. :puke2: Ruined the early part of 2007. I admit the worst thing about it is the singer's voice/accent. Just awful.

Amazing how stingy the British public are that they need a 40p price cut on songs before they purchase them.

It's tough times now, people want to save money any way that they can

As nice as it is to see all these old songs popping up again - they are just destroying the chart runs of current tracks. Hoping that the likes of The Fray and Kings of Leon don't touch the top 40 officially, but I'll admit it's been nice having The Script back in the top 40 - just a shame it's with their biggest selling single, rather than 'Nothing', 'If You Ever Come Back' or 'For the First Time'; all of which deserve to have done a lot better.
