And out of the two that contribute most to their music... Kesha >>> Gaga. Even though it may be so much trashier, it just comes across as just so real with no pretension. Kesha really doesn't give a f***. She writes and produces what she wants... she still somehow makes it commercial. We all know Kesha is a raging alcoholic that likes dick. That makes her my female equivalent.

She deserves so much more credit then what she gets. She is just as musically talented as Gaga (only her voice is weaker), and I think definitely a better lyricist then all the other pop artist. She makes Katy Perry, Rihanna, Christina, Britney all look miniscule when it comes to her music making shit.

 

Kesha would still have just as amazing music without all the heavyweight people behind her.

Ke$ha's defining moments are 'TiK ToK' and 'Blow'. Two of the best pop songs in recent years. WAWWR is also AMAZING.

Well I mean, no one here is trying to say Kesha is a vocal powerhouse. But she makes up for it with her work in the studio.

Her live shows are quite good too. You'd expect her to have a huge production for a tour but she keeps it quite simple and it's mental when you're in that crowd.

her debut album was oh so amazing, it feels like I've been waiting to hear some new material from her for quite some time now.

Agreed here, and besides her style of music doesn't call for vocal acrobatics anyway. Plus the songs are perfect pop anyway, it's the same with Britney - she doesn't have the voice of Mariah or Whitney but she has a fair few undeniable pop classics in her back cat! At the end of day, Ke$ha makes great pop and that's really all I want.

Kesha does not have the best voice,but she can sing and has a nice tone.
