MK1 or whatever as a duet were really good. Definitely my favourite group. Nobody else over the weekend impressed me, especially not that Frankie Cocozza tribute act! :blink:

They're all crap! I did like the Shakin' Chris act. Not his singing - which was good, working-men's club fayre - but nothing to write home about. But his pretending to be bricking it was priceless!

I didn't realise that was Gazza's daughter at first, she was a bit wobbly.

There's a tiny bit about tonight's show on Bianca's wiki page which is frankly hilarious.

This girl has almost got every single XF cliche ticked off that checklist.

This girl is worse 'OH BOO HOO MY DAD HASN'T BEEN THERE FOR ME' for 10 minutes, only slightly above average singing and has the judges all wetting themselves.

I shall list the things I dislike about that last girl:

 

01 She's from Belfast and thus UTV will make out she's amazing and should win and have her on every ad break (they did it with f***ing DEVLIN last year)

02 Her dad is a criminal, I have no sympathy for that sob story.

03 She has awful diction

04 She was pitchy and not READY

Now you mention it, this is too true! I hate to bring up the Australian series yet again in comparison, but in there we saw at least one amazing audition each episode (most of them had 2, or even 3 or 4) whereas I'd say the best we've seen so far would be Melanie Masson vocally, but she has no chance being 'too old'. Ella Henderson was great too but not amazing.

Ella's my favourite so far, easily, the only one I've really thought 'yeah, she's really good' - and now we're mates (not really, but sorta, but not really).

Just seen Hayley Evetts' (from Pop Idol) audition on Xtra Factor, one of the best of the whole series! really should have been on the main show!

 

Can't wait to see Carolynne tomorrow (she has been in every "coming soon" montage after each programme!), I hope she doesn't get montaged again like last year! I've seen a clip of her audition from This Morning and it is fantastic and will be one of the best of the whole series, if not the best! She sings

I feel bad for Hayley because she's still a fantastic singer. But she got shoved on to Xtra Factor, therefore has little chance of the lives.

 

It was a bit annoying to see people talk about Pop Idol as if it were this little nothing show hardly anyone can remember. I know it's been ten years but it was huge and actually produced a big UK talent. Much superior show.

Loved seeing Hayley Evetts back, I didn't recognise her at first, and at 36, she looks amazing.

Really don't have any stand out auditions this year, where are all the good people? Completely agree with all the comments on the last girl and the majority they raved about were all average or mediocre imo. Hopefully they are saving the best to last with tomorrow nights show.

Only liked the 'diva' that sang Alicia Keys with the daughter.

 

The rest were pretty awful/mediocre. What do these judges see in them? And for the record Louis was spot on with the girl and her guitar.
