May 25, 201213 yr Author As soon as I signed on, the screen went grey! It did for me too, but the picture is back now :D Mr. Lordi reading the fake Finland votes! Edited May 25, 201213 yr by Ryan741
May 25, 201213 yr Author Here are a couple of screenshots of the scoreboard graphics including Laka (Bosnia) and Mr. Lordi! With thanks to ESCForum.net: http://i48.tinypic.com/2uf6f6v.jpg http://i45.tinypic.com/2w4bhhf.jpg http://i48.tinypic.com/ofroya.jpg
May 25, 201213 yr Author That scoreboard is virtually identical to last year's! All the graphics have been I think, it's the same German company that's organising it I think!
May 25, 201213 yr Ugh at Loreen apparently messing up, it irritates me that the jury and public don't both vote on the same performances. Hopefully it wasn't too noticeable and that the juries don't 'do a Blue' on her. Oh well, their loss if they don't vote for it, it's going to be by far the biggest post contest hit regardless so even if she doesn't win the battle, she'll easily win the war.

Let's try not to lose faith yet. :( If this time tomorrow Loreen is 2nd behind either Serbia or Russia then we can grumble (a bit). :D
May 26, 201213 yr If you're a jury member, you have to be a bit of a c**t to knock off points for something that is COMPLETELY out of control. There is 8-ish second footage of the clip where she cough, but the whole thing looks a little "hoaxy". I still say she's a clear winner come Saturday night!
May 26, 201213 yr 74jVC-Gh0As Specific moment: 2pNPVjAddGI She can't help an involuntary action, so hopefully no worries regarding that! Otherwise the performance is really good!
May 26, 201213 yr OK not a hoax then... it is a bit of a toe-curler, but I think the whole thing needs to be put into perspective. This is not her missing a note due to vocal ability, she will be absolutely fine! Would much rather this then her sing the entire thing mediocre. I'm confident the first prize is still in Loreens hands! Edited May 26, 201213 yr by ScottyEm
May 26, 201213 yr Pfft, I'm sure jury wouldn't care about this. And if they do then they are fucking stupid retards. The fact that the public and juries vote based on 2 different perfromances annoys me as well. Ugh who made this shitty rule up? :nocheer:
May 26, 201213 yr Yesterday while re-watching some of the performances of Semifinal 2, I DID think 'WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF THIS SNOW GOT IN HER MOUTH?'. Now I know the answer (and I jinxed it; I promise to not THINK anymore)
May 26, 201213 yr Eeeeeeeek awkward moment there! A shame really, because the performance was fantastic up until then. She doesn't fully recover from it though, and I feel as though the juries are more likely to penalise her than the public would be.
May 26, 201213 yr Hopefully the juries can see past it. If there's one person in this year's contest that I really feel could be more than a one hit wonder farting out the same song at every opportunity (Rybak), and actually have some sort of meaningful future career, then it's Loreen. I'll be really gutted if she doesn't win, especially if it goes to somebody like Serbia and the song charts nowhere, whilst Loreen goes on to top charts all over Europe with Euphoria (it's clearly going to happen whatever her result tonight is). But these things happen, look at Gina G in 1996 - 8th with one of the biggest classics of the 90s, let alone Eurovision classics. I've just watched that rehearsal and yes it was very obvious but she picked it back up quickly afterwards like a professional - lets face it, Loreen at 50% vocally is still better than Ell & Nikki ever were at full capacity! I'd be OUTRAGED if the juries marked her down because of that, what's she supposed to do, stand there and choke on it?

Whatever the result Loreen will go onto have a huge hit just as Gina G did - I just wish that full televoting had been in full force when Gina G was in the contest as im sure she would have landslided! Gina smashed it across Europe and the States while Eimear failed to set the charts alight anywhere [she didn't even get to #1 in Ireland after the win!]
May 26, 201213 yr She'll walk it... Though I wonder if they decide to keep the snow for tonight? The fact that odds are, at very best, remain at 5/4 are self-evident she's a clear winner.... Norway 09 odds weren't even as low as this on the day??

In fact, I watched that performance preparing for the worst but despite a little cough, she did continue and totally sang her heart out in the final chorus. Oh, and if anything 'Euphoria' will just continue to be a hit as it's already been a big hit pre-Eurovision in several countries which just shows how popular this track really is. Once it charts in Denmark, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, UK!!! ( :w00t: ) then it'll be a conclusive 2012 Eurovision smash hit (it's already there but the more success, the better :D )
