April 29, 201213 yr Yeah i actually agree. For Ne-Yo it's like a masterpiece, but it's so tame for 50 Cent's standards! Yeah. I think 50 Cent built up his "gangsta" image, which brought him so much success at first, but kind of hinders what type of songs he can get away with now. Like I remember the first time I heard 21 Questions, I was like. :blink: I was expecting another epic dance/club song, and instead we got that dreamy soppy RnB love song. :lol: It's now one of my favourite of his songs though. :wub:
April 29, 201213 yr Things go in cycles. Rock/Indie are popular in bursts (oddly usually mid-Decade) so it will be back. I've noticed that pattern in the UK too. Dance at the start of the decade, Rock Mid decade and back to pop at the end. That isn't to say that there won't be overlap but its a general trend.
