Fantastic progress so far for these 3. I have some hope that 'Princess Of China' could still be another big hit for Coldplay after all :D 'Bangarang' looking likely to outpeak 'Breakn' A Sweat', what a difference R1 playlisting has made for it!

"Bangarang" is rising really quickly now! :o

It's a shame it wasn't playlisted when the video first came out, and that "Breakn' a Sweat" didn't get one since it's far better for me.

Rebecca performing 'Teach Me How To Be Loved' instead of 'Glitter & Gold'. Strange choice but it is one of my favourites off the album

'Express Yourself' now  to #20 :D It's probably come a bit too late for it to make it into the top 40 this week but hopefully it'll hold up well enough to enter next week.

'Bangarang' #28, 'Princess Of China' #39. 'Only Love' a place to #62 though.

Angus/Julia Stone 'You're The One That I Want' is #72, it's been top 100 all week but no one seems to have mentioned it. Radical Face 'Welcome Home' at #89 - why is this back?

Maybe she wanted to perform a song where she didn't have to move at all, 'Glitter & Gold' (although not upbeat) is not a complete piano ballad. It's a lovely song and I hope it goes top 100!

I suspect she wanted to boost album sales more than get a hit single. 'Glitter and Gold' on TV/radio and 'Teach Me How To Be Loved' on Britains Got Talent will certainly persaude people to buy the album. I'm sure it'll return to the top ten next week since sales are dreadful.

Its such a beautiful song. Glad she sang it actually, as G&G isnt going to be a hit anyway tbf.

As others have said its all about selling that album now, hit singles isnt going to be happening. The album has sold really well though, should hit double plat by end of year i'd say.

Pixie Lott and Olly Murs also did piano ballad album tracks for TV performances aswell recently. I think there's quite an obvious reason why. :P

Which one was the one Olly Murs sang Eric?

Also how comes Princess Of China is rising so quickly, is it due to just increased radio? Great start..top 10 with a video? :D

Rebecca obvs sang the album track because she couldn't exactly just sit on a chair through a G&G performance

She could of.. but yes Teach Me How To Be Loved was more suited to the circumstances. + It was a better choice to sing it anway.

YES, I KNOW IT'S WIKI, but apparently Coldplay and Rihanna are performing on BGT on Sat night.

It's possible. Rihanna has performed on X-Factor five times, and Coldplay were on the finale there. (so Simon clearly likes them)

How amazing would a Where Have You Been/Princess of China/Paradise medley be?

Teach Me How To Be Loved is a BEAUTIFUL song and the highlight of her album for me. I hope that performance does wonders for the album and song (though I won't hold my breath.)

They said the video will come in the 3rd week of may... so with BGT and only B-list (for now in Radio 1.) and the video... top 5 is possible!

Edit - it's not on wiki anymore :(

I may be behind but Justin Bieber has just released a song called Turn To You for Mothers Day.

20. Labrinth - Express Yourself

39. Coldplay & Rihanna - Princess Of China

56. B.o.b & Taylor Swift - Both Of Us (Surprised to see this still climbing tbh)

71. Lana Del Rey - Blue Jeans (Big Drop?)

Pre Order Releases for Next Week

66. D, Banj - Oliver Twist

99. The Saturdays - 30 Days

I can't remember. But I think it was performed on Xtra Factor, and it went top 100 on iTunes after the performance (which is not bad for an album track performed on ITV 2 lol). I'd imagine you'd like the song. I only heard it once, but I think it was basically a piano ballad.

I wonder if the latest drama between rihanna & chris brown on twitter will boost her new single.
