43. X Factor Finalists - Hero (2008) (#1)

The 2008 class - including current R1 guest Ruth Lorenzo - took this Mariah Carey cover to the top. The charity thing started to wear off year by year...

43. X Factor Finalists - Heroes (2010) (#1)

The 2010 class - including current R1 guest Ruth Lorenzo - took this David Bowie cover to the top, but the charity thing was starting to wear off...

FAIL.

Do you guys remember when Heroes was released the 2008 version of Hero re-entered the top 100 on iTunes aswell? Looks like some of the general public made the same mistake.

This isn't Alexandra's year.

This is Matt Cardle's year.

AWKWARD.

We must be past the 800,000 mark now (which means Meet Me Halfway must be close to 800,000 now :cheer:).

I thought Jar Of Hearts was past 800,000 too.

its the 2008 cover of Mariah Carey which does include Ruth Lorenzo,

this wasn't even top 50 for 2010! How confusing :drama:

Oh fabulous, getting to listen to 2 X Factor singles in a row.

To be fair, they played the 2010 one! When I heard Rebecca Ferguson I started to panic. Good start to my hour

I Do. I Do. I Do.

ugh, this is the only XFF song I detest, I dunno why as the other three covers aren't exactly any good either, but I can listen to them and this just makes me cringe :puke:

Please assure me this is now correct. At least I get a bit of breathing space with this replay.

oh great, now we have to hear Hero!

Its cringe worthy, but oddly I think this was the shows best year. Even the ones who left early can hold a tune.

Well, that was a complete mess. Even worse than the Tinie blunder earlier. I suppose we should expect a few mistakes in a 12-hour radio show though :P I just hope we get some sort of an explanation for the WITL?/DSM thing.
