Hope Mary J. Blige Why makes an appearance soon.
God what a slow chart. :( The top 17 is just the same songs as last week moved round a few places!

The inclusion of streaming made the charts a lot slower than they were before .., they should turn the BB hot 100 into a sales chart just like the rest of the world......

For god's sake Big Mistake, find something new to say other than how terrible streaming apparently is.
Great new peak for Ellie. I can't tell whether its sales are dropping at the moment as its stuck at 38, but maybe thats because of all the songs from the voice on iTunes?

The chart really is moving quite slow lately. The top 10 needs fresh blood.

I'll echo the "woo Ellie" sentiments unsurprisingly. Mildly pleased to see Alex Clare on the chart and that massive rise for Rihanna.

GYC STILL yet to fall behind WMYB! Surely it will do soon.

Feel So Close back up to its peak - random. Part of me thinks it could actually still have a shot at going top 10 but it's VERY unlikely.

Another week at #16 for Rumour Has It, I hope it can at least crack the top 15 but it's doing fine anyhow. SFTTR still that high (and back up a place) despite its rapidly falling airplay is quite surprising, looks like it will overtake SLY's weeks in the Hot 100, it's now at 36 and SLY managed 39 in total.

Good to see Ellie continuing to climb and re-peaking again, I wonder if this will eventually just properly take off or if it'll continue to climb up at snail's pace then start to drop, selling lots overall but never really getting that big? Woo at Paradise re-entering, I believe this is the first song to actually do the whole 're-entering after 20-week cap due to being top 50' thing aside from the Whitney songs? This rule has the potential to create some very weird chart runs but it's definitely a step in the right direction towards a more representative/accurate chart.

Great to see Alex Clare showing up again too. Why did he drop out anyway? Did they stop showing the IE ad for a while?

Seems very odd to see 'Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites' still in the Hot 100 and not far behind 'Bangarang' after all this time, its popularity has really not been reflected very well on the H100 at all. Woo at 'HYFR (Hell Ya Fucking Right)' and 'Crew Love' continuing to climb, plus a small resurgence for 'Mercy'. Another good climb for 'Titanium' too but it seems to have stalled a bit for now on iTunes :( Very good climb for 'Where Have You Been', a potential future #1 I reckon.

Moves Like Jagger's persistant existence continues to annoy greatly. Hopefully it should drop out next week.

(Oh and yay for Gotye remaining #1 too, although that was pretty obvious. He's broken/matched a few airplay records this week, most notably getting the longest running Alternative Songs #1 ever for a solo artist (10 weeks)).

Anyone got the Bubbling Under chart?

Over on the Digital Songs chart, the entire top five is stationary this week, led again by Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know" (featuring Kimbra) with 348,000 (down 16%).

Maroon 5's "Payphone" (featuring Wiz Khalifa) is No. 2 (286,000; down 13%), Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" is No. 3 (210,000; down 5%), fun.'s "We Are Young" (featuring Janelle Monae) is No. 4 (187,000; down 10%) and Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend" is No. 5 (172,000; down 10%).

One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful" is up one rung to No. 6 (151,000; down 11%) while Nicki Minaj's "Starships" rises two slots to No. 7 (147,000; down 2%).

B.o.B's "Both of Us" (featuring Taylor Swift) is the chart's highest debut, starting at No. 8 with 143,000.

Closing out the top 10 are Flo Rida's "Wild Ones" (featuring Sia), falling one position to No. 9 (139,000; down 9%) and the Wanted's "Glad You Came," staying steady at No. 10 (120,000; down 16%).

How exactly did Paradise and Too Close re-enter?
Woo at Paradise re-entering, I believe this is the first song to actually do the whole 're-entering after 20-week cap due to being top 50' thing aside from the Whitney songs?

No it actually happens every now and then, mostly adult pop and country songs do that. These did it last year:

Mumford & Sons - Little Lion Man (re-entered at #45 on chart dated 05/03/11)

The Band Perry - If I Die Young (#46, 25/06/11)

Jason Aldean & Kelly Clarkson - Don't You Wanna Stay (#48, 30/07/11)

Eli Young Band - Crazy Girl (#45, 03/09/11)

OMG. HOW and WHY? *.*

It got used on some TV show and it's been 69p on iTunes. How many times has she been given a big iTunes boost and failed to crack the Hot 100 now? I really thought the song had hit potential!
