June 10, 201213 yr awful chart run, and I'm not even sad because song is pure crap. and promotion is awful, it didn't deserved top 10 position.
June 11, 201213 yr Ed sold 5100 copies to place one below them, while Kylie sold 6770 to chart at #55. I'd imagine they sold around 5500 last week. Total Sales - 70,500+ it will ultimatly pass 100k Edited June 11, 201213 yr by missingyou
June 11, 201213 yr Just did some calculating (assuming its right), but if (when) 30 Days reaches 100,000 sales; would their record sales in the UK not reach 3.5 million? :)
June 15, 201213 yr Off topic, but wasn't sure where to post... but Get Ready, Get Set really should have been a single! It's brilliant. Especially played loud! I really think it would have been their 'massive' hit at last. And it sounds weird, but I could hear the instrumental being used on all the olympics and Euros 2012 programmes over the summer and stuff like that, the title of the song is quite fitting too. :P I think I'd have gone for Notorious, All Fired Up, White Lies, Get Ready Get Set as singles. But yes, I'm a little bored of 30 Days now. Was never that big on it to start with, I already want the next single, too impatient. Edited June 16, 201213 yr by Encore
June 16, 201213 yr Get Ready, Get Set is one of THE songs of the album, but I think the lyrics are too openly sexy for them.
June 16, 201213 yr The whole era was handled awfully, how could Get Ready Get Set, White Lies and The Way You Watch Me not be released, for me I prefer all three over All Fired Up. Notorious was dreadful, I like it now but its far from single material, same for Heart Takes Over. I wont even comment on 30 days, beyond boring. Such a shame they're singles always seem to be wrongly treated, they could have been huge by now, Had Ego Wordshaker and One Shot been released from Wordshaker and Forever is Over not even recorded, the albums chart run could have been a different story.
June 17, 201213 yr Down from #66 to #99 in this weeks chart. So their two least successful singles have been back to back. :( Not good.
June 17, 201213 yr I don't understand why it flopped so much as 30 days sounds like a typical Saturdays pop song. Or, perhaps that's exactly the problem.
June 17, 201213 yr I just don't get why they couldn't have released a single from the album. It'd have been cheaper, would have boosted album sales (even just a bit) and would have lasted longer in the charts (climbing, peaking, falling) and sold more, but whatever.

I don't think any song would have outpeaked MHTO, and I think they're clearly (trying to) concentrate on high peaks more than chart life. Besides, 3 singles from On Your Radar is more than their last 2 albums had.

Besides, 3 singles from On Your Radar is more than their last 2 albums had. Well all of post-album singles (besides Work) completely overshadowed the previous single and was a decent hit so I just don't understand why they didn't bother with one this era just because they were afraid of a poor peak.

Faster or Get Ready, Get Set or even White Lies would have produced another top 10 hit for them. Personally I think they should have rushed onto Faster as soon as they realised MHTO had flopped. They could have got a video out and in rotation on radio too by January/February (like JLS/Pixie Lott did).
June 18, 201213 yr i think the sats are coming to an end now to be honest Yeah I agree, I don't think their fortunes are ever going to change sadly. I think they'll call it quits in the middle or near the end of next year after the new album, perhaps they'll make it to 2014 with a greatest hits album/tour and then go their own ways. People really don't care for them much anymore.. they've lost pretty much all interest in them generally. I'm just happy to be getting new music/one more album potentially from them until it comes. I do hope with this era they at least pick the right singles in the right order for once though. Edited June 18, 201213 yr by Encore
June 18, 201213 yr I just cant believe theyre even still here. They are a car crash band, which is kinda sad because they produce some good stuff. White Lies/Work/Higher/Karma/Ego are all great, but there are far too many 'nothing' songs.
June 18, 201213 yr Yeah, it's kinda gutting to see how little people care about them as a band. They just seem to release a single every three month, it goes top ten, plummets and then go on a break again.
