Lovely increase. I've read it reached 10.6 million viewers from 9-10PM which is quite amazing. Also, The X Factor always leads the 18-49 demo which is the most profitable demographic of them all (advertising always aims at this demographic).

It's only competition was Survivor though as all the other networks are airing repeats at the moment until the new season begins. Still, good to get an increase but it's still not up to where it should be :/ I'm really enjoying the auditions though so far :)

Yeah, it's not up to the 12-15 million viewers it should be getting, but anyways, I'm really enjoying watching her on TV twice a week and being such a cutiepie.

Hmm I thought this at first but I'm enjoying the show/Britney's presence more and more, I think she's getting into it a bit. Especially the guys she wanted to "wake her up", good chance to show some more personality.

The survivor premiere is huge. And the Big Brother season finale was on during X-Factor. It was impressive that it increased.

Last night's episode was much better Brit wise, far more natural personality coming through.

I think Britney is one of those people who will take a while to come into her own and it will take a while for her to get used to it. She'll be just about perfect by the time the lives come round.

What were the first seasons ratings? Are they up on last year?

Nope, last year the first four episodes got around 12 million but these seem more in line with the backend of last season.

Final ratings are a 3.5/11 with 10.15million viewers.

Hopefully it will continue to rise, even after the auditions.
