I thought this would be a really interesting poll to have. Frankie and Rochelle have both been linked to the job, but do you think Mollie, Una or Vanessa should be given the opportunity?

I personally think Rochelle is the best candidate because she's very opinionated but also does the fun stuff well. She's also great friends with Tulisa (and the friendship between them will get rid of the pitting against each other that happened with Tulisa and Kelly last year). She's also linked to XF through Marvin since he was a contestant on the show. And she's now the best singer/becoming the lead singer.

Mollie would also be good because she seems to have the best personality and has been all over the tabloids.

Rochelle from a personality point of view, but I voted for Una as I think she would be the best mentor due to her musical knowledge which I assume she has more of than the other girls. :D

Una would be a horrible judge. She talks too much and goes off into rambles and speeches over the littlest thing. Although saying that, she'd probably be the most "fiery" judge.

Vanessa is far too quiet/shy/laid back.

Mollie would be fantastic. The nation would seriously fall in love with her.

Rochelle could be a bit hit and miss.

Frankie doesn't have any depth to her at all.

Quite honestly I don't think any of them would be suited to being a judge. At a push, maybe Rochelle.

Well quite. In order of LEAST AWFUL I would go: Una (least awful), Rochelle, Vanessa, Mollie, Frankie (even a returning Cheryl Cole would be better).

Hand Vanessa a bottle of rose wine and xFactor ratings will hit the roof.

Rochelle would be a FANTASTIQUE judge!

I can't stand Rochelle, I know I'm alone but ugh.

I'm probably biased, but I think Mollie would be by far the best, even as a Sats loon though I know that none of the girls would be the best choices. Even Rochelle would be better than the rumoured Mel B, god save us all!

Not quite.

Either Mollie or Una, seeing as they are the only members I actually like.

They'd all be pretty terrible judges, as said above. I'm not sure I can even distinguish one personality from another and I'm a FAN.

Rochelle would be overall IMO. Mollie would be the cute, funny and nice judge that everyone would fall in love with like Cheryl.

I'd love to see them get a guest judge slot even, and they have been rumoured along with some of the names that have been rumoured/confirmed but doubtful. Geri did Liverpool, Leona in London yesterday, Rita Ora tomorrow for London... and Tinie Tempah, Mel B and Nicole Scherzinger are rumoured for some too.

I don't know why mollie keeps being mentioned. She's a decent looking blonde but yeah, sub par vocalist and not a fantastic performer either. Who is she to judge anyone? Her personality is great but she would get slated by everyone. At least Cheryl can perform like hell and can try to attempt an average vocal. Rochelle is an okay choice, she's a gd performer, average singer but her personality and personal life also add to her credentials i guess.

IT’S a big day for England’s footie team – and former captain Rio Ferdinand.

He’s signed up for a judging job on ITV1’s new telly talent show.

The Manchester United defender, whose exclusion from coach Roy Hodgson’s squad sparked some stinging criticism, will lead the panel for new sports entertainment show Let’s Get Gold.

Others appearing include Martine McCutcheon, Una Healy from The Saturdays and ex-England cricketer Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff.
