I'm guessing that there's nothing else on his album that's worthy of single status (not that I've heard it), and with the success of She Doesn't Mind here and the relative flop-ness of Got 2 Luv U here compared to elsewhere in the world means there's some reason to try and re-release it to get another big hit over here. I'm quite sure the quick departure of it from the charts the first time round was due to no real airplay.

I really doubt it'll get anywhere near the top 3. It'll go low top 10 at best and I honestly wouldn't be that surprised if it becomes her lowest peaking single. Anyhow, woo for Jay-Z/Kanye West, Labrinth, Professor Green and Sebastian Ingrosso moving up to the A-List + Avicii, Cheryl Cole, Jessie Ware and Kelly Clarkson moving up to the B-List :D Yet to hear the new songs by Maxïmo Park, Sneakbo and Tiësto - I should hope MP's new one is a bit better than 'The Kids Are Sick Again' (although I did like that as well). Yay at 'Small Bump' getting playlisted, it's dropped out of the top 100 again on iTunes but R1 playlisting it should hopefully help it become at least another top 20 hit. 'Whistle' and 'The Apple Tree' are good additions too. 'Got 2 Luv U' is a bit of a WTF addition but I guess it's just being re-released which is probably the best move for Sean Paul to be honest, I could see it doing similarly to the 'Don't Trust Me' re-release. And ergh die etc. @ Maroon 5 but this is hardly a shock after it was Greg's record of the week last week. Wasn't that AlunaGeorge song sent to BJSC a while ago? Two BJSC entries added on the same week then (along with 'The Apple Tree') :P
May 23, 201213 yr The addition of 'Got 2 Luv U' may just be a mistake - it'll correct itself next week. I recall it happening with Ellie Goulding's 'This Love (Will Be Your Downfall)' at the beginning of the year and everyone went crazy. Nice to see Stooshe and Maroon 5 both added to the playlist, the latter is surely going to be a big hit - and R1/R2 support for Stooshe should hopefully get them another hit (though top 10 may be pushing it) - may potentially hang around a little longer than 'Love Me' did too, it's a shame it fell out of the top 100 so quickly after the #5 peak. 'No Church in the Wild' A-listed though - surely the best news. Have yet to hear it on the radio actually, but it's the highlight of the album for me and will hopefully be a platform for Frank Ocean to grab commercialised audiences - he was after all voted the runner-up for Sound of 2012.
