I wouldn't say that's a good performance, but there's something I like about it. The song just isn't as strong as some of Ukraine's past entries, could be in trouble.

Bulgaria now! *.* Shame it probably has no chance. :(

Belarus: Litesound - We Are The Heroes

This sounded more flat (musically) than I was expcting. Vocals were ok I guess but it just seemed to lack some ummph!!!

Portugal: Filipa Sousa - Vida Minha

I'll never get the appeal of these type of songs. :(

Surprisingly, my fave tonight has been Željko Joksimović 'Nije Ljubav Stvar' which didn't really grab my attention on first listen.

Wow, Bulgaria starting off flatter than a pancake.

Oh, this is the Inna-lite track. Don't get the appeal of this song. Doesn't come even close to the greatness that is Romania and Cyprus.

2012 is definitely dance eurovision, all going for a club style feel, interesting to see will it be a club style song that will win.
I only care for Serbia, The Netherlands and Ukraine so far, but this Bulgarian entry is absolutely awful!

01. Serbia: Željko Joksimović - Nije Ljubav Stvar 2/5 meh

02. Macedonia: Kaliopi - Crno I Belo 3.5/5 Good song actually, love that rock sound!

03. The Netherlands: Joan Franka - You and Me 2.5/5 Good melody, but overall boring song.

04. Malta: Kurt Calleja - This Is The Night 4/5 First very good song, very addictive song!

05. Belarus: Litesound - We Are The Heroes 4/5 hmm not as good as studio version but still catchy song.

06. Portugal: Filipa Sousa - Vida Minha 3/5 Good song, not really a fan of it!

07. Ukraine: Gaitana - Be My Guest 4.5/5 This really good, love the dance sound, she looks weird but overall surprisingly nice!

08. Bulgaria: Sofi Marinova - Love Unlimited 5/5 Shock GENERIC but I LOVE it. One of those songs for which I didn't cared before but now I adore it!

Well fingers crossed for Sofi!

(not that it'll doing anything but this is becoming my favourite non-Loreen song in this semi, allow me this)

01 Serbia - 8/10 - I havnt heard this before tonight but i sense its definitly a grower and i do like it, will definitely qualify and do well.

02 FYR Macedonia - 7/10 Started of quiet weird for me but improved along the way and was catchy.

03 The Netherlands - 5/10 not quiet sure to make of this, if it qualifies i think it would be 10th and just scrape through.

04 Malta, 7/10 very catchy chorus that stays in my head.

05 Balarus 5/10 catchy in places but not sure if the voice suits the song.

06 Portugal 3/10 bland and dated and il be shocked if this qualifies.

07 Ukraine 3/10 voice doesn't suit the song and it doesn't really go anywhere for me.

08 Bulgaria 3/10 boring enough and again went nowhere for me.

01 Serbia - 9/10 - STUNNING preformance! Nothing more to say! <3

02 Ukraine - 9/10 - OMG How can you not like this <3 Perfect.

03 FYR Macedonia - 9/10 - Seems a bit nervous, but the song is SO beautiful! <3 Her voice is so cool!

04 Bulgaria - 8/10 - OMG this is so gay ! love it, and the dancing... really good preformance, all alone on stage!

05 Malta - 7.5/10 - Wow! Amazing preformance, really suprised this sounded good! Wish they had changed that girl.

06 The Netherlands - 7/10 - Not bad, she does a great performance. Wish she had changed the indian theme though... Makes no sense.

07 Portugal - 2/10 - Boring

08 Belarus - 2/10 - MEH. The end was horrible !!

Serbia 9/10

Macedonia - 8.5/10

Netherlands - 10/10

Malta - 4/10

Belarus - 6/10

Portugal - 8/10

Ukraine - 9.5/10

Bulgaria - 6/10 - in desperate need of some backing dancers and also kinda screechy!

01 // Serbia - For a country predicted to do so well, I expected a lot better than that - but it is actually quite good. I like that it borrows most of it's tune from Paradise, and it actually got really good in the last 30/40 seconds or so, when it all sort of built up. Quite good. 7/10

02 // FYR Macedonia - I thought it was just another ballad to be honest, and I was quite enjoying it - but, when it all rocked up, I actually still liked it surprisingly, gave life to what was just another ballad. By the looks of it, doesn't stand a chance of qualifying, but a good rocky song I think. 7/10

03 // Netherlands - Very weird song, that I'm surprised I actually like. There's a real charm about Joan herself, from the way her big eyes glisten at the screen with her cute gestures, to her her squeaky voice. And it was a good fun song - would quite like to see that qualify. 7.5/10

04 // Malta - Quite enjoyed that really, very catchy song, admittedly quite a dated idea of a modern sounding song but it had an enjoyable AY AY AY EEE YEAH bit in it that I liked, catchy stuff. I didn't like the random woman who joined at the end though, and sung like she was trying to cough something from the back of her throat. AND WOO 4 DUBSTEP BREAKDOWN 2K12 EUROVISION ~ 7.5/10

05 // Belarus - In the same way as Malta, it sounded like it was trying to sound modern but still sounded dated. However, much like Malta also, I really liked it. I really liked the instrumental, sounded quite electronic, and a catchy chorus. Five entries in a row I've liked, that was my favourite yet, great semi so far! 8/10

06 // Portugal - That was my least favourite so far. I don't think it was that bad, but it was quite uninteresting. She sung it well, and it wasn't bad by any means, just not very interesting, like I said. 6/10

07 // Ukraine - I really do not understand for the life of me why I enjoyed that. It was just awful, her voice was annoying, but I absolutely love it for some reason. Felt very anthemic, a bit shouty, but the trumpets were ace, and I really don't know, but I loved it. 8.5/10

08 // Bulgaria - What the hell was that? Like, the instrumental sounded really good, and had the potential to be an amazing dance track. But, it had a really weird and boring structure, and just shouted that chorus so painfully it ruined it. I did still quite like it, and I liked her hilarious head dancing. 7/10

09. Slovenia: Eva Boto - Verjamem 2.5/5 Very disappointing entry from Slovenia this year, boring as hell, their last year entry was AMAZING!

So many epic backing sounds in Slovenia! If this was more memorable I'd love it absolutely to pieces. Still think it'll qualify with ease though.

And now, Croatia, bringing you almost exactly the same song.

I enjoyed Vidha Minha far more than I should have, I think this year I just have a thing for the foreign language ballads

Sofi was actually very good, in a hot mess way. I hope it scrapes through, but like Macedonia and Netherlands it's unlikely :(

Verjamem is another good foreign ballad, I think there could be a shock qualifier or two since there's so many and they may blend into one a bit.
