June 4, 201213 yr Don't think so. I think top 5 as physical scopies get more sales than download ones. Infact HMV's album chart is the closest to the actual chart.

June 6, 201213 yr Strange it climbed so much overnight, even allowing for the iTunes Jubilee effect. Essentially without the Jubilee it would have tanked. Perhaps the Jubilee is giving it a bigger boost than expected. I guess fans (me included) aren't rushing out to buy it. Apart from the packaging there is no point. Plus at £9.99 instore for the standard, forget it. I will wait for both versions to be reduced before I part with cash. Sorry Kylie, if it was a new album I would. I already have most of the videos on DVD from UK/Greatest Hits 2002/ X Tour Edition. The only ones lacking are the Aphrodite videos. 2 videos in HD is not enough for us true fans. Seems like an own goal not to offer a special edition with the much talked about Orchestral/ Acoustic GHs.
June 6, 201213 yr In some senses im slightly worried about Kylie's performances as of late. We have had get outta my way #12 not great sales, better than today #32, time bomb #31, the Aphrodite live concert DVD/album peaked at #72 and now the best of will also miss top 10. I know the best of release offers nothing new and is a cash in but i cant help mention Aphrodite struggled to make platinum after a very promising start. In some ways what i have mentioned above slightly reminds me of Kylie towards the end of her pwl time when her chart positions and sales started to drop. Now im not saying Kylie is finished or anything like that but i think she needs a killer single to lead the next album and a very strong pr team that will pull everything together.

I think she should move on to a new record comany, as she's been with Parlophone for 12 years now. After any other albums she is releasing this year - acoustic/Abbey Road recordings greatest hits - I think she should switch to another record company.
