Just heard her on capital! she is sooo sweet! I seriously would love to go for a drink with her!
I hope her #1 status on iTunes lasts longer than a few hours and doesn't just 'do an All Fired Up'.

The radio presenters at Capital seemed genuinely happy the Loreen was #1 so that's good!! They did tell her she was the UK's #1 even though it's not the official chart, but oh well!

They will be playing her song in 1 minute! :D

I never in my WILDEST DREAMS imagined the BIG GAY FAVE would not only WIN Eurovision but be #1 on iTunes within 24 hours *.*
OMG!!! hearing it on the radio feels sooo much better! It is the icing on the cake after a fantastic Eurovision week! :cheer: :w00t:

Capital FM just said this "So yesterday, no-one in the UK knew who she is, now today everyone knows her".

Liars, we all knew who she was on here!! :kink:

Somehow 'Euphoria' sounded better than ever before being played by UK radio, if that's even possible. Such an amazing & proud moment.

I know it's not the official chart, but that was SO exciting to hear that on the radio played as number 1.

So we now have to hope she can stop that AWFUL Gary Barlow/Military Wives single? I only got through 2 mins of it. Does he not even sing on the record? Is it for the jubilee? Are they performing it on TV this week or anything? Maybe it's not a shoo-in.

*insert unfunny sarcastic joke about not knowing Loreen was number 1/we don't have enough pictures*

THIS. Took the words right out of my mouth, it's just incredible hearing it somewhere that isn't me playing it of my own choice!

Because it is like all us Loreen/Eurovision fans feeding capital a big slice of humble pie. well it is to me! :cheer:

Just bought Euphoria on Australian iTunes... to put it in perspective...

Time Eurovision ended here: 00:00ish

Time now: 03:00

Euphoria's position: #20

Euphoria's position at 5pm tomorrow when all the Aussie radio stations jump on board, and it has been all over the news and iTunes TV chart (where they will probably show her MF performance)....? I know no one really cares about Australia, but this song can really reach #1 here! And if it can reach #1 in Australia then it shows what a monster this song is.

Well Tina Cousins was huge in Australia ;)

Not sure which chart I'd rather Gary Barlow's release to be included in. If it's included in the singles chart it runs the risk of stopping Loreen getting to the top, but if it's included in the album chart, it may stop either Paloma Faith or Scissor Sisters getting to number 1.
We'll find out tomorrow morning. If it does not appear on the singles chart top 30 by midday tomorrow, we know it's in the albums!
I literally feel like a PROUD MOTHER today. Who'd have thought that the slightly awkward-looking woman trapped in a pit of despair during My Heart Is Refusing Me last year who seemed destined to just stay an underground cult favourite of Melodifestivalen fans would go on to be a contender for a UK #1 just over a year later?

I really hope this Gary Barlow thing isn't eligible, if only because it'd be heartbreaking to see Loreen getting stuck behind it.

I'm feeling it all again, like I'm hearing it for the first time. And that first time was so incredibly amazing!

I've just been listening to both MHIRM and Euphoria and I'm getting this feeling so much (even though I wasn't watching MF 2011 and only discovered Loreen when she got entered to BJSC).

I hope to god Sing counts towards the albums - it'd be a shame for Paloma to miss out but there's no way Loreen could compete the bloody Jubilee, so for selfish reasons Sing better be towards the album chart. It'll be bending the rules surely if it's included in the singles, but I'll they'll do it. OH LOOK, Queen Elizabeth has had 60 years on the throne so let's all buy a song vaguely related to it!

I'm coming across as a desperate bitter loon but it's true. If people geniunely prefer the track to Euphoria musically (for whatever bizzare reason) and buy it for that - fine.
