I could never understand why it bombed as badly as it did?

Also - how can Kylie have gained little or nothing from her performance on The Voice yesterday  I thought it was fantastic (though I may be a tad biased). :P

Ratings for the show must not be that high. :(

I genuinely have no idea how Loreen is still pulling ahead at this stage, where's the promo going to come from to keep her up there for much longer? Fingers crossed radio stations across the country take note and start hammering it asap!

Hmm, my prediction of 11-15 for Kylie is starting to look a little more realistic.

Rudimental really could snatch #1 at this rate.

I really really would like Loreen to be #1 in the main charts. It will prove how modern Eurovison is these days.

The #1 effect, Rich. Loreen was slowing down a lot when she got to 95% but still reaching #1 she's sped up again as I expected. Her single cover is now displayed on the iTunes front page and whatnot.

Really surprised to see Lawson still increasing, looks like 'When She Was Mine' could do significantly better than 'Lick Ya Down' (the level of success I thought it would have). Rudimental still gaining nicely, I hope they can gain the last ~0.35 to #1 today :D

Nothing from Gary's EP seems to be being cherry picked enough so it's all about the EP and physical sales, as well as whether it's chart eligible of course...

I still expect the final top five (if Gary's not eligible) to go something like;

1. fun.

2. Rudimental

3. Loreen

4. Lawson

5. Rihanna

Completely depends on whether radio ignore all existence of Loreen from this point onwards or actually do the right thing...

Wasn't there a song last year that went to #1 on iTunes and ended up with a #6 peak officially, I can't remember what it was though...

Lady Gaga - The Edge Of Glory :snif:

Agree that Loreen won't make #1 officially. But it will still be the best performing non-UK Eurovision entry in years.

Also T-Pain feat. Wiz Khalifa and Lily Allen '5 O'Clock', which BuzzJack as a whole probably wouldn't mind as much :P

I'm thinking '5 O' Clock' by T-Pain? I'm not very good with iTunes history, but that springs to mind.

That's the one I was thinking of, I knew it was some urban song, had completely forgotten about Gaga doing it too.

#6 at worst for Loreen though would still be miles better than a lot of people could have anticipated but I do hope it finishes up in the top five.

I think Loreen would end up higher officially than T-Pain did. No offense to Loreen, but her song is a LOT more tailored to UK radio thank 5 O'Clock was.

It was so hilarious when it got to #1 on iTunes!! I've honestly never seen so many :manson: smilies on here before. Especially since it looked like it was going to flop big time (i.e. miss the top 40) at one point!

Loreen has the advantage of a full week's decent sales - T-Pain didn't even reach the top 40 until Monday because of it being impossible to find at first and didn't hit #1 until Thursday, while GaGa only released on the Monday (or maybe even the Tuesday?) and never had a big lead at #1. I can't see Loreen missing the top 5 now, I'd think #3 at worst and still a decent chance at #1 with Rudimental being her main challenger.

I'm sure 5 O' Clock wasn't at #1 for as long as Loreen has been - it didn't even reach there til like Tuesday if I remember rightly. Loreen has been there through the biggest sales period of the week - I can't see her not being Top 3 at the very least.

EDIT: Bray, stop posting everything I'm saying, but a minute earlier, and more accurately. :(

I was so confused when that happened. I mean, I knew the song is very weird and unique, and quite dividing when it came to public opinion, but there was so much hype around it I "knew" it would go at least top 10. Loreen should do much better than that, especially as she's still increasing!

Sorry :kink:

To me Loreen's lead will probably end up going the way of GaGa's in her first full week of "Born This Way", except that if "Sing" underperforms we won't have an Adele equivalent. That would mean "Euphoria" being pipped by "We Are Young", then.

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned her charting at #85 yesterday?

(Or maybe they did, and I missed it)

Hello, I really don't understand why Keane's single dropped out the chart?? Why Keane's singles never come back into top 40??? Any chart observor could explain me please? :)
