So surprised at Kylie falling what with her Voice performance.

Bet Cheryl's mimed dance routine would have had more impact had the song been released last weekend.

Loreen was played three times apiece by Heat Radio and in:demand yesterday. Not a bad increase.

The shows viewing figures are pretty bad though, all the way down to 5million viewers when wasnt it at 11/12 at one point? :o

Still that said, i'm also surprised Kylie is falling still even with the Voice promo.

That's actually not the whole story.. The song was already becoming a hit (a moderate sales one anyway). Glee had covered it and it had been hovering in the US iTunes for quite some time before the Super Bowl ;-) I think it would never have been noticed as a Superbowl Ad if this didn't happen.. Hence why I thought I'd add to that.

No, because it had extremely little airplay before then, and the real version went top 10 on iTunes briefly, and then free-fell.

Although, I do think maybe the people who chose to use the song in the advert heard it from Glee, so you could argue it IS down to Glee after all.

 16. Die In Your Arms - Justin Bieber

I had forgotten this was happening today. Doesn't seem to be doing as well as 'Turn To You (Mother's Day Dedication)' although will probably still go top 10 on iTunes and preak higher officially since it has more days this week. Still, will probably disappear from the top 40 pretty quickly. (Unless this one is a proper single?)

This is like Justin's 4th chart hit in under 2 months :drama: and people complained about Rihanna releasing singles too often
So glad to see "Dark Side" to #65! Hopefully it'll be in the top 40 by the end of the week at least.

see this 'dark red' business, whats that actually mean ?

i was hoping for a Eurovision number 1 for loreen :( its better than Rudimental, though i do like that song also , but it would be more interestin if Loreen took the top spot. Is she gettin much radio play?

(Unless this one is a proper single?)

Probably not, or at least I hope it isn't as I wasn't overly keen on first listen.

It's no different to what Lady Gaga did last year (and others have done in the past) really, it's just a promo single for the album for now.

02. Fun. 'We Are Young (feat. Janelle Monae)'

03. Loreen 'Euphoria'

17. Coldplay & Rihanna 'Princess of China'

18. Nicki Minaj 'Starships'

yes,but i dont mind Gaga doing it :P

I really hope this stalls now and/or turns out to not be godawful (I'm now beginning to consider the latter as a possibility after actually really liking 'Live My Life').

 16. Sing (Commonwealth Version) [feat. Military Wives] - Gary Barlow & The Commonwealth Band

 42. Sing - Gary Barlow & The Commonwealth Band

Both versions already falling despite the promo today - has it got more promo lined up over the week? Because if not this is definitely now looking at a top 10 miss, or scraping in at 9/10 at the very best.

 21. Calling (Lose My Mind) [Radio Edit] - Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso

Has been slowly working its way up since release, perhaps a dark horse for the top 20 this week?

 61. Dark Side - Kelly Clarkson

Heard this again this morning and sounded even better than the first time, no longer sounds like something I'll get bored of quickly a la WDKY(S) either. Go Kelly with your actually decent songs :D

03. Loreen 'Euphoria' :(

I am literrally hoping Radio 1 will playlist Euphoria tomorrow or next week to stabilize its sales. At this rate it can fall out of the Top 10 by next week.

Princess of China's video is premiering on Thursday. I'd love for this to go top 5.

OT: They're actually performing in my city in about a hour. I might be able to hear them of I go outside as I live near to the arena. :P

Lorqueen is flying into the UK tonight/tomorrow to do some promo, according to Scandipop :D

Good news, although all I want at this point is a Radio 1/Capital playlisting. Shame it keeps falling but what is there to keep it up save for a few radio plays here and there on stations which nobody listens to.

41. Avicii 'Silhouettes (Original Radio Edit)'

Was lingering around the #55-60 region last time I'd checked, wonder what's given this such a boost - the music video trailer premièred yesterday (mentions that the video is 'Coming Soon'); so must just be radio/clubs/word of mouth. Any which way, I'm glad it won't fall too quickly out of the charts, would be a real shame for Avicii to only have one well-known hit (I guess 'Seek Bromance' counts, but I don't think a lot of people would recognise it as Avicii).

I think Avicii will easily be one of those LMFAO-type artists, whereby the follow-up from a big hit ('Champagne Showers') under-performs, but the third track ('Sexy and I Know It') does significantly better.

I think it has been playlisted on R1.
