I like it! It's perfectly catered to their X Factor fanbase, which will hopefully help them. They were pushed as a normal group of girls, with their own insecurities, to make them relatable - so it's no surprise that they've gone and made a song about rising above negativity. Their harmonies were also a big part of their success so they've really decided to push that - there's almost too many harmonies going on on the chorus! It's fresh and catchy too, so I can't see anyone who liked them on X Factor disliking this.

All in all, it's nothing mindblowing but it's a pretty strong debut and I look forward to hearing more.

The first thing I felt when listening to this was empowerment! Love the girls and wish them success. I didn't waste all those phone votes for nothing :P I shall be buying the single.

For those saying that this song is anything less than amazing needs to have there ears checked immediately!!

This is so so good.

Massive number one and the evident gay anthem follow-up to 'Call My Name'...

The song itself has not even entered the top 100 on Radio Airplay, it seems CapitalFm have also snubbed them! Only 2 plays on Radio1, which is actually quite decent tbh
Has it even been "officially" sent out for radio ads yet? It's release isn't for another 6-7 weeks yet! Plenty of time and Radio 1 will playlist it. I'm sure of it.
I'd be surprised if Capital ignored it! Especially considering they playlisted 'Seven Nation Army'!
Its a solid lead single, should at least go top 5
It will go to No.1, and stay at least 2 weeks. Amelia is releasing her new track the week after the girls, but will not do as well.
I'm confused as to why Radio are seemingly avoiding this so far?! Radio 1 are yet to playlist it but have playlisted Misha and Capital are yet to but have playlisted Amelia and Marcus. Strange. I suppose it's still early days though for now.

Only just heard this because of my holiday, and this is REALLY REALLY REALLY GOOD - and I might be meeting them next Thursday :w00t:

But, still, what a great debut, it's actually pretty much what I wanted from them.

I'm struggling to imagine a video for this really, but I hope they avoid the really cheap looking standing in a coloured room look that both Misha B and Marcus Collins have been served with.
:cheer: I cant wait to see the video either be a right hoot :gold2:
They're the nicest girls! Just so warm and friendly, and Perrie was really funny, having a conversation with me. So behind this song right now, really hope they can get a #1 with this, I really do.
The best thing about this is the fact that they have got a fighting chance of breaking this winners curse by releasing their single when it is ready rather than waiting for the first XF live in October! It's a strong debut single which should do well for them although I haven't checked if they are up against any other strong competition that week. Guessing they will do their second single on the XFactor and then the album the week after which will probably do similar to JLS' first album which would be fantastic for them
The song is now playlisted by Capital. I have identified the reason why Radio 1 hasn't playlisted it yet. It's not had it's video out yet. But why would they care about video, it's a RADIO STATION!

Noticed on Amazon that various bits of merchandising are available to pre-order - a calendar, a book & an annual.

I might get the book eventually (if & when it goes cheap) but otherwise I'm only particularly interested in their album.
