January 11, 201114 yr Author omg i can't take it! that studio version is incredible. i like how it doesn't have the bloody crowd noise and is much slower. feeling a resurgence of love for this already, absolutely can't wait for the album :( and so glad it's been picked at the 2nd single!
January 11, 201114 yr I'm so happy i prefer the live version, very few artists sound better live. Amazing song. Worried it wont perform well though, its not very mainstream more like a stand-out album track. So glad its being released though and hope it gets massve support and promo.

I think it has much more emotion than the studio version actually. After getting over the shock of the chorus being different, I actually prefer it now and it's definitely the best track on the album for me. :)
January 24, 201114 yr Someone Like You is awful in it's album version. The melody of the second half of the chorus is just lost completely. The Jools Holland live version is far superior. I kept wanting to sing the melody of that version but the high vocals on the recorded version are so off-putting. Very disappointing.

January 24, 201114 yr I think if you watched the live performances a lot, the album version of Someone Like You does take some getting used to. I really love it now though. :)
