September 30, 201113 yr For some reason, that ending (with the camera on her eye and cutting to a scene of her man walking away) is really powerful. You can feel the emotion. Wonderfully directed video, I have a soft spot for one-shot videos as well, which never hurts.
September 30, 201113 yr Glad it finally has an official video, and look how simple it is! Would only take a few hours in the day to film! Next Set Fire To The Rain please. Video is exactly what it should be, stripped back, black & white and so simple. Reminded me a bit of Duffy's Warwick Avenue.
September 30, 201113 yr Beautiful video but I wish she had filmed a proper video for when the song was popular in the UK. Hopefully Set Fire To The Rain will end up getting a video too.
September 30, 201113 yr Author Love it. Even though it's normal to, it felt really odd when she broke the fourth wall like she was peering into my sole.
September 30, 201113 yr Beautiful video but I wish she had filmed a proper video for when the song was popular in the UK. Really? At the time I thought the perfect choice would be to show the live performance of the Brits, and thankfully that was chosen to be shown as the video. I'm really glad it has a real video now though too.
September 30, 201113 yr I like the video. Adele looks great. It's got no replay value whatsoever obviously but it's nice. Especially the end, which is great.
September 30, 201113 yr What a stunning video, very emotional. Adele looked beautiful in the video.
October 1, 201113 yr Hopefully Set Fire To The Rain will end up getting a video too. I hope so too, atleast Someone Likes You had the Brit performance to be shown on TV, Set Fire to the Rain has nothing!
October 5, 201113 yr Back at Digital Songs #1 this week with another 222k sales (+10% week-on-week) :D Hot 100 report isn't in yet but fingers crossed a 24k sales lead is enough for a return to the Hot 100 #1...
October 5, 201113 yr Yup, back at the top of the Hot 100 :D Hopefully to stay this time. Edited October 5, 201113 yr by Bré
October 12, 201113 yr #1 on Digital Songs again this week, sales down 2% week-on-week to 218k. Should be #1 on Radio Songs next week also. :D #2 on Radio Songs again today with 136 million (up 10%). Maroon 5 are on 143 million. #1 on Billboard Hot 100 for a third non-consecutive week and its total digital sales now stand at 2,008,000 :D Rolling In The Deep and Chasing Pavements were also given very vague sales totals in the Billboard report (5.3 million and 1.2 million respectively). October 19, 201113 yr Adele is good but loads of people just like her because shes a big girl :> Idiot. Yeah, I just ignore the music and like her because she is a big girl?!
October 20, 201113 yr #1 on Hot 100 for a fourth non-consecutive week :cheer: #1 on Digital Songs, also for a fourth non-consecutive week, sales off 5% to 207k though (only barely (1k) ahead of LMFAO so she was very lucky there). Still #2 on Radio Songs annoyingly (up 6% to 144 million) even though she's overtaken on the airplay chart posted on BuzzJack. (The Adele forum is pretty dead these days isn't it? :() Edited October 20, 201113 yr by Bré
