I LOVE IT!

***Totally noticed the Britney move Mollie described

***Glad Rochelle kinda takes lead, while Ness still gets a decent part (she would probably feel very redundant if she lost all her lines!)

***Chorus is very infectious and easy to sing along to

***It does everything 30 Days should have done

PLEASE release in the UK before Jan!

I'm stanning for these girls so hard right now. :D I don't think i've ever been so emotionally invested in a pop act before, haha.

Need this song in my life, like... Yesterday!

Sounds amazing, I can't wait

It's insanely good ! Am I the only one who thinks this is up there with their best material yet ? (Higher and all) And I really think that if there's no autotune in the studio version, well...It could actually be their best one. There's just something really good about this song.

2nd Adventure, correct me if I'm wrong, but are the verses like sexy/moody/mysterious ? Cuz it sounds like that from the LQ performance and I love that. (Oh, and, I was wondering...Can you actually give us information about this track now ? I mean...Like can I ask you if there's autotune (or too much of it) or you're not allowed to talk about it ?)

It's just so caaaaatchy. NANANANANANANANANANA. WHAT ABOUT US ?!

And that routine... I mean...Thanks girls. You just proved me why I'm a fan of yours.

So now, basically, I want this to be released tomorrow so I can hear the HQ version. I don't even care about the promo, the success, or anything. I just want that damn amazing song.

Well obviously I don't want to spoil anything, but I suppose I can answer things within reason now that they've performed the track and it is 'out there' for people to watch/listen to.

It's meant to be very moody and sexy, which is why the girls are singing in a lower tone I assume, which comes off too much on that live recording - but the studio version is nice and padded so it really sounds quite dark yet bright and airy. Mollie's verse is just lush.

That is actually quite promising. I can't hear a word of the verses, but the chorus and general sound of the song is pleasing. It's their first single in a while that's sounded instant. Even the amazing "All Fired Up" was a wtf moment to begin with. I hope they can get some success over there, might be wise as the UK market is about to flood with girlgroups all over again.

OMG. I'm so totally excited and fan of this song. I can't control myself. :w00t: This track with those sexy vocals and routine...it's like the perfect $l*t anthem.

I really hope the harmonies (well, we didn't really hear, but Mollie and Frankie were harmonizing together during the verses. Plus, during the pre-chorus, they seem to be singing with Vanessa) are in the song. Are they ?

Absolutely love it. Like said above, it does sound very instant and it's their first one that sounds like an instant 'hit'. I'm impressed cos it sounds dancey-pop but it's also very different and refreshing. The drum beat is probably what makes it stand apart. Can't WAIT for the HQ!!
I can say with 100% certainty that this is going to be the best song of all time, and I think it will spend a year or two atop the Hot 100 to be honest :o So excited for The Sats, this LQ live performance of their new single has single-handedly changed my life (for THE BETTER OF COURSE) :cheer: :w00t:
Umi, How's Ellie Goulding doing with airplay for her new song?
I don't see what that has to do with my love for the new Saturdays single. Stay on topic please :)
I cannot get over how amazing that simple LQ performance is. Imagine the HQ version. Damn.

:D

So this is the lyrics of the pre-chorus and chorus, correct me if I'm wrong >

Whatever the weather is we're gonna get together

So what's up baby, what about us

Cause I've been watching and waiting

Why don't you give it or take it

So what's up baby, what about us

Whatcha doing to my heart (na na na na na na)

You should be here with me instead (na na na na na na)

What about all those words you said (na na na na na na)

What about us? (what about us, us, us)

I'm not going to fully judge for now just on an LQ clip but oh god that's promising!

Sats world just gets better and better right now!! Watch something come along and jinx it lol. :P

They're apparently working with Darkchild for the new album (it's been in The Sun who are usually quite spot on with Sats stuff, they reported the girls were signed to Mercury in the US before the girls said anything, and I saw a tweet someone posted three-ish days ago with someone saying about seeing the girls at Darkchild's place).

Just in case people aren't familiar with what he's produced, there's a list on Wiki and elsewhere online too but here's some highlights:

Gaga/Beyonce - Telephone

Destiny's Child - Say My Name and Lose My Breath

Bieber - As Long As You Love Me

Nelly Furtado - Big Hoops and The Spirit Indestructible

Pussycat Dolls - When I Grow Up

Beyonce - Deja Vu

Spice Girls - Let Love Lead The Way and Holler (and other tracks)

Whitney - It's Not Right, But It's Okay

Britney - He About To Lose Me and Don't Keep Me Waiting

J Lo - If You Had My Love

:w00t:

He worked with MJ, TLC, Backstreet Boys (remember Mollie tweeted about working with a producer who's worked with them and Britney a few weeks ago??) too. :) Plenty of artists across the years. I'm excited for them, everything seems to be going well for once... please let's not have a cock up happen for this era/campaign haha! I do prefer his older work to the newer stuff he's done with Furtado and Bieber though.

Dr Luke/Max Martin/Stargate would just be the icing on the cake and probably guaranteed US smashes but I'll forget about them as I very much doubt The Sats could get them haha... but who knows? Be great to get them with Carl Falk/Rami Yacoub again who did White Lies and 1D's What Makes You Beautiful etc.

Just listening to What About Us again... the loud heavy drum beat through the whole song is epic! Like a carnival sounding beat. I kinda wish the intro had a bit of 'explosiveness' with the drum sound exploding at the start before the instrumental before Rochelle starts singing kicks in, and again when the instrumental fades out another drum sounding bash to give the intro/outro a bit of oomph to it. Will wait for studio version to fully judge but while I reaaaally like the sound of it, I don't know if America will sit up and take notice of them with What About Us?

!!!!

Don't get me started on some artists that have hits in America with awful song. It sounds like a song that will get airplay! So here's hoping!
