Lol, do you know that they are TOURING RADIO STATIONS on the 17th? Loads of artists do that and that's when they start to play the song

They're only doing like five stations and then they're back in the UK the next day. It's not a proper full on radio tour (which, I'm hoping is what they'll do when they're back in the States since Rochelle won't be back).

Well, it's better than nothing? :)

Another thing is maybe the record label is relying on the show for TV promo, which is good but I agree radio tour is KEY. Def Jam knows how radio airplay works in the US. So I hope they hurry back & do a proper radio tour all over the US & at least Montreal & Toronto in Canada.
Their management over there know what they are doing, much better than here anyway. We should trust then and wait and see rather than hitting the panic stations, some songs take months to pick up. Demi Lovato's Give Your Heart A Break was released in Jan 2012 and took till the July before it really began to take off.

WUHTBAAWTHUZZZ

I agree, their management seem to know what their doing, but they will need to come back to the US to keep promoting What About Us, instead of hoping that airplay somehow helps it. I mean only doing three performances really isn't good enough in hope of doing well in the US. I think the girls need to come back next month, I mean I don't know what else they have planned (the album is practically finished, all they need to do is debut What About Us in the Uk, then start promoting in March)

I wasn't sure it'd ever get as high as it currently is, so well done to them! If it can keep progressing and building then it looks promising.

The song is rather addictive.

Good point!

Apparently The Sats have just performed on the Today Show so hopefully that can give them a boost into the top 100 in the US! :D
Here's a link to the Today Show performance of "What About Us". Not sure if it will work outside Canada/US ==> today .com/id/3041478/vp/50482804
Much better performance, Rochelle, Mollie and Frankie were really good! Una had a few flat moments on the 'What About Us' part of the lyrics and Vanessa's voice is sounding awful right now IMO :( So much croaks!
So apparently some of/perhaps even their whole performance wasn't shown as it was replaced by Obama calling a press conference or something... these girls have the worst luck. Seriously. :nocheer:
It's 110 on iTunes, gotta hope radio starts playing them now!
In what could be on the EP rumors. 30 Days and Missing You were used as background songs on The Today Show today (not including what was used in Chasing The Saturdays clips)
We already know the tracklist : What About Us, All Fired Up, Higher, Notorious and Ego.

Embedded video for those who haven't seen it yet. Una's "problems" are just part of the job for most singers who sing live and dance. So I'm letting her off. Vanessa though... good LORD. Look after your voice, woman! Jesus! Quen Rochele is probably the strongest and most consistent vocally now!

Still haven't been able to catch the Jay Leno performance :/ That site just ain't working for me  :drama:

EDIT: So I tried it on Google Chrome and it worked (damn Safari :drama:) it was a good/decent overall performance! But I didn't think Una was half as bad as people made her out to be  Yes a few dud moments. But I thought she did well on her main part, which is the main thing. Vanessa was better on this than the Today show though, but she still sounds off a lot of the time. Not sure Mollie's parts were 100% live, hence why her parts were "better than others". Rochelle really steals this song, doesn't she?
