Is it even looking likely to be a hit?

That's because it's not been sent to radio or anything yet. It's not out until March here, and our video is going to have Sean Paul in it according to the mailer.

The fanbase won't let this one miss the top 10, it's not exactly MHTO and if they got 30 Days there, this should be a dead cert, plus I have every faith that they'll do some promotion and get good airplay when it is sent out.

In my drunkeness I requested this last night, but the DJ had NO idea what i was on about . Safe to say i was gutted i couldn't get my UNA moves on the dancefloor :nocheer:
I thought that it was released in a few weeks, especially given that so many posters have gone on about this song for months.

Una is an AMAZING dancer -_-(not really)

Vanessa lacks the star quality and the charisma that the others have. Although to be fair to Vanessa, the rest of the group don't have any vocal talents to their name, while she (sort of) does...

Tbh Griff, I would take your comments more seriously if you were a Saturdays fan, judging by the previews of Chasing The Saturdays, Vanessa's gonna be drunk quite a lot of the time.

Slipping in both countries:

Canada: #50

Usa: #120

So much for breaking the US

I think they are doing really well managing to stay that stable so far as their TV promo has ended! It all depends on whether their airplay can pick up now!
I still can't believe they're coming back to the UK tomorrow. I knew this would happen! They'd get close to the top 100 and then start to plummet. They were at #108 earlier and now they're down to #123. :( We just have to pray their documentary and the Jeff Probst appearance boosts them back up until they finally return to promote. It'll be absolutely awful if they miss out on a Hot 100 placing.
I hate to admit this to you shadow2009, but what you predicted is turning out to be right, only airplay will be able to save them now, otherwise...

They've got radio tour tomorrow, only five stations, but it's something. It's actually doing quite well taking into account their poor airplay tbf. Rochelle doesn't think she will be back promoting in the USA. The girls better be back in the US next month promoting!

Knowing these girls they'll probably not bother coming back to the US next month because they'll want a "break" before the song is released in the UK.

I just find the current situation extremely frustrating. Everything was going perfect the last week with Chelsea Lately, Jay Leno and The Today Show boosting the song from the mid #1000's to #106 on iTunes and the video hitting over 2 million views and just as it gets interesting they're dissapearing and we've no idea when they're coming back. Meanwhile the song is beginning to free-fall on iTunes and might be beyond recovery if/when they do come back to promote it (and if the radio think the song is flopping they won't touch it, which is why they need radio on board ASAP).

People are jumping the gun far too quickly. You guys need to remember, the US charts work COMPLETELY different to the UK charts. A song can take up to 6 months to actually get momentum sometimes! Ellie Goulding 'Lights' is probably the most recent example of this (before you say, no I'm not saying they're going to be as successful as that). Just that it takes a hell of a lot longer for a song to peak in the US. They just need to hope radio play them. I'm sure the premier of their show on Sunday (?) will boost sales for a little bit too. You don't need to worry about this release, until (if it's nowhere in the top 300 on iTunes) about March, (if it is top 300) End of Apr/Beg of May.

So stop panicking!

Thing is, though. The Sats have huge instant promo. 'Lights' took months to climb because nobody knew who Ellie was in the US and she had to promote for months in small clubs, minor TV shows and then work her way up through tons of touring and performances. It was a sort of "word of mouth" type release. Same with 'Want U Back'. It took alot of time because Cher had to do tons of minor promotion and touring. Straight away, The Sats have had adverts promoting their TV show (with the song playing) all over E! and they've had the Vevo Lift promotion (which is massive). Not only that but they've landed three huge TV performances within a week of their arrival. I don't think their label/the girls are prepared for months of promotion and are hoping they just need to do the big stuff and pray the radio back them.
