He is promoting his socks off this time.

I woud think he has to do it Elisabeth , he needs the tickets sales in order to make it worth his while touring , it seems that touring is very expensive

on Alan Carr's show on Dcember 16

Gosh, he is busy, taking it right to the wire at Xmas ...

I was hoping he would be on Strictly

I cannot believe how much promo he is doing this time around.

He did say ages ago that he was promoting right into the New Year but I wonder if he had planned to do so much if all the stadiums were already sold out?

Strictly must be literally the only thing he hasn't done.

Anyone else like me, still surprised to read a positive Sun article? After so many years of their slagging him off during and after Rudebox it still catches me unawares. I mean it's great but for me still surprising. One of the best things he ever did was to sort out his differences with them as they cost him dear 2005/2006

I think he will do a really good gig on NYE. He is the ultimate party enabler. he'll have that place jumping.

I would love if Rob is doing rock in rio in brazil. Maybe South America will get a small tour this time. If I saw it correctly on FB he will have a show on Spanish TV reorded on December 2 on December 24th.

IT is odd how he doesn't go back there. For ten years they've waited. It can't be distance as he "pops" over to Oz for five days. They do seem to be so loyal in South America. It would be nice if they could be rewarded. I wonder if he is still the biggest selling non Latino artist there? Let's hope they get something this time around. :)

He said in Spain that he wants to do Rock in Rio in Brasil, Laura.

He seems to have a good relationship with Dan Wooton of the SUN

What’s on TV tonight? Shows to watch on Monday 5 December from Brits Icon: Robbie Williams to Tour de Celeb

NEW! BRITs Icon: Robbie Williams, 9pm, ITV

Back in 1995, who’d have seen this coming?

Leaving Britain’s biggest boy band to go boozing with Oasis bad boy Liam Gallagher, Robbie looked washed up before his first album went supernova on the back of timeless singalong Angels.

A star turn at Live 8 and unlikely pairings with Kylie and Nicole Kidman followed, before his old chums in Take That helped him out of another slump. He deserves this award – joining Elton John and David Bowie as a BRITs Icon – for perseverance alone.

This show, filmed at the Troxy in London, pays tribute to the singer, with contributions from collaborators who tell the story of his roller coaster career – his ups as well as his downs.

With The Heavy Entertainment Show making him the British solo artist with the most number one albums, it seems the British public are happy to let him entertain them for a while yet.

We just can’t (and don’t want to) imagine the world of pop music without Robbie…

Things come & go with the press Laura, they wanted to bring him down a peg or two at the time, If I remember correctly he had defended Kate Moss around that time for her alleged drug taking & started slagging off the journalists about what they were doing themselves & that he could name names . I think they were biding their time to get him & remind him that when it suited them they could punish him. I think he learnt a lot for that time & has mellowed a lot since then.

I am glad he made it up with his friends in TT , it's not good for the soul to carry grudges through your life ...

Yes it was the Kate Moss thing. His relationship with the press went downhill sharply after that.

He's made up with everyone now I think - the press, TT, Louis Walsh, even bloody Piers Morgan. <_< Much better for your psychy.

Only Nigel Martin Smith left I think. Hell might freeze over first though. ;)

Looking forward to seeing this show.

I am having trouble with internet at the minute ...keeps breaking down

Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Wrote a Song for Robbie Williams, Has Ambitions for Country Album

want to a country album,” the frontman exclaimed. The list of possibilities seemed endless as he added he’d like to open a club in Des Moines, Iowa, is continuing work on his label Great Big Mouth, would like “to be a total d–k and use my notoriety to be in a movie” and write songs for people outside of his genre.

This is when he revealed, “I actually wrote a song for Robbie Williams. I just love Robbie Williams. He’s f–king amazing. He cracks me up, he’s a great entertainer, he’s an amazing singer. And, I just love the energy that he’s got. I know that I’ll probably f–king lose cool points with a few people for that, but I just f–king love him, I think he’s great.”

All of this is a far cry from the Corey Taylor of old, who was homeless for a while as a teenager, living a self-described Bohemian lifestyle, sleeping under bridges and on friends’ floors and couches. This changed after joining Slipknot and when the band achieved success, the singer found himself abusing alcohol heavily and engaging in debauchery.

Robbie Williams reaches out to Zayn Malik over his battle with anxiety https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/23709...e-with-anxiety/

It must be a terrifying experience especially if they think about it too much before they go on stage .. watched a bit of the XF last night & thought Louis Tomlinson also looked nervous but got through it ...

Hopefully Zayn can over come that otherwise it will hinder him. Artists need to be able to perform live. It gives such a boost to sales. I hope he can sort it out.
