What is blood disorder? Blood poisoning?

Anyway. Captital radio had said - according to what I read on FB - that they waited until the last moment becuase of the ticket sales and hoped it would pick up. But this could also be a rumour. If it is the ticket situation we will not hear something official until the 14th as otherwise the insuance will not pay. This would be the Sochi event. I don't think that Robbie would be the one who cancel the gigs when the stadium is half empty. But the tour investor might see it different. It is indeed a bit scary at the moment. Also with teh Australian dates being up.

Did someone know that he should have been on Graham Norton this month?

BM what do you hear?

I hadn't seen anything about a Graham Norton appearance Elisabeth although I guess it would make sense with the biography coming out.

Anyway all this is conjecture. If Pete isn't unduly worried then with rest and recuperation all will be well. That's the main thing. It's just a shame that such a successful tour where he was literally going from strength to strength had to finish on such a damp squid. I think he will be bitterly disappointed about that. :(

Robbie has to have been on heavy meds & antiinflam drugs for that back problem to get him through the tour , you could see that from his puffy face , his liver must be in a terrible state so I am not surprised his blood looks bad hence the reason the Doctor told him 'go home' or the alternative is not too pretty as well all know :(

Hopefully he can sort his back out in the six months until NZ/Australia then he won't have to rely on all the medication. That's my hope for him anyway. Sometimes you need more than just "spirit" to get you through a tour and he needs to look after himself more.

It was a long one to sign up for but he had most likely signed on the dotted line before he injured himself. If I remember correctly he did the damage on that show with Paddy McGuinness when he slid down the pole  ... I think he was great to keep going for so long & to have through so many shows so i guess it was time to stop

No - he's had a bad back for years Tess.

I remember during the TTC tour at Wembley it was playing him up - he said he had jumped from the garage roof at home and it had jarred but I think he had pain in it long before that.

Also remember at Belfast during the swing tour he said it was really painful. He couldn't play at Soccer Aid 2014 at all because of it. I remember he was sat on the touchline most of the game.

It's just got worse over the years unfortunately.

I thought this was sorted

Robbie Williams angers his neighbours AGAIN as they accuse him of secretly trying to build a granny flat in revised plans for summer house at £17m home

I see there are snippets from Robbie's new book online which I am not going to read as it would spoil the whole 'reveal' for me ;)

This is the link to the Sun article. Tess don't open if you don't want to know. :)

It focusses on his drug taking 2006/7 and meeting Ayda.

No one can ever accuse him of glamourising drug taking.

TAKE THAT’s 25th anniversary tour is going to be the biggest of their career, but despite initial plans for ROBBIE WILLIAMS to join them on the road, I can reveal their former bandmate is now extremely unlikely to play a part. Robbie, who recently cut short his European tour due to a “mystery illness”, has recorded secret tracks with GARY BARLOW, MARK OWEN and HOWARD DONALD to feature on the compilation, but fans shouldn’t expect to see the songs performed live by the four of them.

Robbie’s absence from the tour is the clearest indication yet that Take That will remain as a threesome after Gary told me last week they have given up on JASON ORANGE ever returning, an insider said: “The band see themselves now as a trio. “When the Greatest Hits tour was first discussed, the feeling was it would be great to get Robbie on board. But it’s become increasingly difficult to get everybody together. “Gary, Mark and Howard have the same schedule and it’s far easier to plan around.”

I was the first to reveal Take That were organising a commemorative tour to mark a quarter of a century in music. Gary later revealed in this column the band wanted to include the US and the Middle East as part of the schedule, as well as huge stadiums in the UK and Ireland, and there were positive signs Robbie was going to join them for the first time since their 2011 Progress Live tour after he took part in the secret studio sessions. Robbie recently took part in some secret recording sessions with the band

The band occasionally regrouped for performances such as the 2011 Echo Music Awards in Berlin, but it seems Robbie’s appearance with Gary, Mark and Howard on the last episode of Let It Shine in February, could be the final time fans see them perform as a four-piece for quite some time. and that’s despite the fact Robbie is an executive producer for Take That’s musical The Band, which has its opening night in Manchester next Tuesday.

With two hit albums under their belts, they have not done too badly as a trio.

Does the Sun think he won't be recovered in two years then?

I think he'll be there whenever they eventually get to it. ^_^

With the book release this week I think it's all about headlining this week more than anything else

One thing we do know is that Robbie has already stated that these days it's all about touring , tours take time to plan so who knows what had already been planned for Robbie for the next couple of years, I am expecting we will get another album at some stage as that is the way it has worked in the past .

In the SUN article it says that he has recorded songs for the TT compilation record , what happens after that I have no idea , they are hardly going to tell us now , are they , better to keep us guessing

Not sure why the SUN posted a second piece

LET HIM ENTERTAIN YOU Why did Robbie Williams quit Take That, what’s his net worth, who’s his wife and what is his ‘mystery illness’?

Robbie is currently ill and probably won't be able to join Take That on their 25th anniversary tour

What an odd "article" <_< Talk about writing for writing's sake.

I saw that Robbie was booked for Loose Women today. Aside from everything else - it's a shame that he's missed these promo slots for the book.

I wonder how he's doing? Feeling better I hope.

For me it is getting more and more strange. Marketing? This is what I first thought, but a book does not sell by itself without promo. Why can't they do a statement? Is he in rehab because of his medical drugs he took during the tour?

I'm choosing to believe what both his dad and his sister said. Why would they lie?

His sister especially was quite detailed in what she said. They're very protective of him. Why would they make up stuff? For what purpose? They're just his family who care about him. I'm hoping he's feeling better like Sally said. That's all that matters to me.

My book has been despatched from Amazon so looking forward to reading it. :)

Last time he got ill in 2006 there was not a beep for 6 weeks so it will most likely be the same this time.

Hope he is getting better

I see Lady Gaga cancelled her European tour due to chronic pain

Adele cancelled her tour due to voice problems

Justin Bieber cancelled the rest of his tour because his heart was not in it

Kanye West cancelled part of his tour for some reason or other

We said at the beginning of Robbie's tour giving his health issues that the tour was so long so he did great getting as far as he did
