Think coldplay & rihanna deserve a higher peak!!

No it doesn't! It only got the peak it has due to the 59p reduction. It's not a great song, Coldplay have had much better ones!

Completely unjustified claim here. We have no way of knowing how well it would've done without the price reduction following the video premiere, for all we know it could still have reached a peak of number four. I for one am thrilled, it's a brilliant collaboration - and although not Coldplay's best; the collaboration itself is applaudable in my opinion - glad to see it's peaked inside the top 5.

01. Maroon 5 'Payphone'

04. Stooshe 'Black Heart'

01. Maroon 5 - 'Payphone (feat. Wiz Khalifa)' - EP

04. Stooshe 'Black Heart' (Remixes) - EP

^ Wonder how long this'll last then - both single and EP at #1 and #4. I think Stooshe could appear as high as #2 on the Tuesday update if this EP continues to sell well, though the quick rise to the summit for Maroon 5 suggest they're a strong contender for #1.

It wasn't doing much before it was reduced so how is it an unjustified claim? :coffee:

Looks like there will be a new selection of 59p songs next week, as the majority of these are falling.

i luv your title 'Will Maroon 5 blow Flo Rida's whistle' :D classic....
Wow #4 for Stooshe! As much as I love Cheryl and I'm glad she got her #1 this week, I would love it if they switched and Stooshe got #3!
Stooshe were on a cookery programme on Channel 4 so that has probably helped them.

Lethal Bizzle - Leave It Yeah (Remix) #99

Lethal Bizzle is out of the top 100 already

But, like Coldplay, they're only as high as they are because of the 59p price-tag - as soon as that ends, they'll plummet...

Next To Me didn't, wasn't that 59p to start with?

But 'Next To Me' was a good enough song to stand up on its own...

LOLLL! And POC isn't? it would have gone top 10 ANYWAY with it radio airplay and Video clip and a great song,

it was 59p before all of this happend, that's Y it was only top 30 then.

Cheryl update

03 Call My Name & 307 (remix) & 404

477 Screw You feat. Wretch 32

507 Fight For This Love

684 Under The Sun

957 Craziest Things feat. will.i.am

I hope Call My Name can hold the #2 spot this week. Combined she could be ahead of Flo Rida, and then there's hoping Stooshe doesn't overtake her.

It would be nice to have a few track from A Million Lights in the top75 too, especially Under The Sun

I don't see the point in mixing the chart success and song's quality at all.

"I love this bread, it tastes much better than the other one. I demand it should be as popular too."

For a second I thought you were citing some lyric.

Not true. Before the price reduction POC was already climbing, Sunday the 10th it went from 8 to 7 and Monday the 11th from 7 to 6. Tuesday morning it climbed again one place to 5 and the price reduction happened on Tuesday.

Of course the 59p promo helped more but it was on the climb already before the reduction too.
