Nice to see the two of them performing together. They're a bit of an unlikely performing duo. So. Dig it. I realize this wasn't rehearsed...but I do wish Geri had sung a bit more. The only time I can clearly hear her singing is her one album version line.

 

Side note. Is this the only time "...boys and girls go good together" has been performed?...live OR mimed? I remember video surfacing on the reunion tour of Geri's vocals accidentally being used as backtrack as Victoria sang over it (...an incident that seems even odder now). But I don't *think* "boys and girls go good together" has ever been legitimately performed. A bit interesting Geri sang it all this time later. I would've expected them to just use the same lyrics that have been performed the past 20+ years...just with Geri going low with "take it or leave it" instead of the way Victoria sings it.

 

Another side note. I prefer the Victoria version's lyrics for its consideration for gay couples...but prefer the way Geri sings that section.

I went today I really enjoyed it! Apparently it is touring the U.K. in 18 cities, I imagine Birmingham would be one Jay

Glad you enjoyed it! I'll keep my fingers crossed it comes closer to me. :cool: I only went to London last week so can't really justify another trip so soon (even for a Spice Girls related event :kink: )

No, actually she sang it with the track here back in 1996.

No one calls Pixie Lott whatever her name is or Lady GaGa Joanne. Her albums and singles will ALWAYS be listed as Lady GaGa as that's her stage name when released. Same as Geri Halliwell.

She has changed her name, clearly. What's wrong with that? Her name used to be Halliwell, now it is Horner. It's not that hard.

She is famous as Halliwell and her entire discography is Halliwell

Did she release anythin as Fernandez Vercini?? No. She was still known as Cheryl Cole, even here in the polls, and she was WAY more famous than Geri when she had that name change too

I'd still write Geri Halliwell when referencing her singles, she even released Angels in Chains as Geri Halliwell.
