Ooh, I actually love that! I'm really glad she's gone for an outdoors video it makes it feel more summery! It's something Little Mix, Misha or Marcus didn't do with their first videos which isn't anything bad (Little Mix's video is great), but it's nice to see some variation.

It's like a mix between David Guetta & Kelly Rowland's video for 'When Love Takes Over' and Alex Saidac's 'Stay In This Moment' which are two videos I love, so it's pretty great for me! :D

I quite like it, it's not the best video for the song but I didn't expect a big budget dramatically amazing video anyway. It does the job and that's it really.
The song is still good for a top 5 placing though, because the market is quite bad around end of August/Early September.

I like the video. It's nice to see it's not been shot in a studio, like pretty much all of the other contestants have done. I would say the video suits what age she is now and her 'style'. It's fun and nice enough ^_^

I'm REALLY hoping this goes top three and doesn't bomb out of the chart straight after.

It could have done with some effects.

But I do agree that not all videos need to be in a studio. I think it lacks something.

I feel a bit FOOLISH because I've turned from one of the biggest critics of this song into quite the fan. I'm quite the contrary Mary it seems. I maintain that the song is not as good as it tries to be, and that's largely due to Amelia's boring, bland voice, but there are a few moments that need to be appreciated.

The video is nothing like I expected. I expected low budget but I wanted colours and lights and a lot of dramatic close-up glances at the camera because that's what I think the song IS.

Such a good looking girl, and she does have a great voice! Not necessairly a fan and not really feeling the new song (yet anyway only heard it a few times so who knows it may grow), but I think it'll be a hit! I wonder if she'll get that top 10 that Misha just missed out on!
Meh. I don't mind the video. It's not exactly what I wanted, but it'll do. I agree with Andre, I was expecting bright colours and lights rather than a beach. I'm loving this song so much at the moment, there's not much else out there that can compete for my affections right now.

I don't know what to say about the song tbh, I keep putting it on, It's weird I think I like it, but I don't listen to it until the end.

Listen to it ALL Lee! It's one of the best pop releases of the year!!!
I was never a big Amelia supporter and "You Bring Me Joy" is certainly a grower. I can feel elements of mid-career Girls Aloud in there which, of course is a majorly exciting thing when you're a Girls Aloud megafan like myself.

I always knew Amelia was a star waiting to be invested in. 'You Bring Me Joy' may seem underwhelming on first listen but it's only understated. The melancholic vocal and disco sound reminds me of Will Young's 'Jealousy' - and in a good way!

If radio 1 gets on board, I'd say it'll be a long-running #3 hit.

If radio 1 snobs it and it only has Capital support, I'd say a #5 hit with a 2003-GA-style chart run.

Might as well add that I can easily see this doing well in America. The video is very "Genie in a Bottle" and the song is too but more 2012 obviously. Let's face it; if Cher Lloyd is flogging a UK #25 "hit" in America and is actually doing well, no doubt Amelia can top it.

That's an unfair to say that Cheryl is "flogging a uk #25 hit" the only reason it was #25 was because poor airplay and it was released after the album, I'm sure if it was released before the album it would have been a top 5 hit.

Was not a fan of her on X-factor, but I cannot deny that this is a great song, nice video too.

Ok I was a bit harsh but you can't deny that on paper it doesn't look promising.

Also, in terms of quality and commercial appeal, I'd say that YBMJ beats WUB easily.

Which bears no relevance? It still made #25.
