'Be With You', the double A-side to another one of their songs to come later in the countdown, comes in last place with one single point. Hardly surprising as the song only just scraped through to be in the final list. I liked the song at the time, but as with most of their songs it sounds horrifically dated these days. They also manage 86th with an album track from 'Ladies Night', which to me sounds absolutely dreadful. This leaves the girls with only two songs left already! Also in this bottom three, is one a few Eurovision songs that has made it into the final, I don't particularly know (or care) for this song either, which only picked up votes from Gooddelta and Tirren.
July 2, 201213 yr I would be happy with GA (any single) or Sugababes (with a good single) winning the poll. This or 'Pure shoes' for the whole melancolic thing.
July 2, 201213 yr Author 85 Booty Luv 'Some Kinda Rush' 31 points fERa100TWiY Highest voter: NickF1 (21 points) 84 Pussycat Dolls 'Hush Hush; Hush Hush 46 points 3BBsF7VIQyo Highest voter: Thermometer (18 points) 83 Honeyz 'Won't Take It Lying Down' 49 points 1uZA9fSOaTA Highest voter: AaronTM (18 points) Booty Luv's sole entry (and not even their best song) comes in at 85! Nicole Scherzingheifgheuer and her back up dancers enter at 84 with their first of four songs, the camptastic 'I Will Survive' 'Hush Hush; Hush Hush'. I like this song more than I should, simply for the use of a semi-colon in the title. The last song in this section is the Honeyz fabulous song 'Wont Take It Lying Down', which should be at least sixty places higher for having one of my favourite lyrics 'honey my suspicion is the only thing, that's gonna be getting aroused'. The Honeyz have one more song still to come.
July 2, 201213 yr pure shores 4eva BYE tho if it's #2 it better be sound of the underground that beats it by 1 POINT I'd be happy if any one of the Sugababes singles would win. Basically these. Pure Shores I really like, it has some great vibes going on. Sugababes would have to be my favourite girl band, but I only like the older stuff, like the first three albums or something. I do like Sound of the Underground as well, so hope that does well too. Oh and I just noticed, All The Things She Said is in the running too. That is another one I like so would like to see it do well also.

I've never heard the song in my life until I Youtubed it, I suppose it's nice enough. I was shocked it see it was a #29 SMASH in the summer of '06! Two of the biggest girl groups have their first of several entries, Destiny's Child at 82 and All Saints at 81. 'Independent Woman' is a good song and probably deserves to be a bit higher. QUESTION. How has the dire 'Bootylicious' beaten it? 'Bootie Call' has the prize of being All Saints' least favourite #1, which upsets me as the song is absolutely AMAZING, I'm glad that Superbossnova has taste.
July 2, 201213 yr Losing A Friend is really lovely. Wish I'd voted for it now, it was close but only just missed out, not surprised to see it so low though. I can also declare I don't particularly care for anything else so far, mostly because I'm not too familiar with any of them.

(26 points) Two Eurovision songs in this section. Firstly, our own (and amazing) entrant of 1999 is at #79, 'Say It Again'. Absolutely adore this song! Also, the inclusion of this song I believe makes Jenny Frost the only lady to be featured on the countdown in two different groups, Precious and Atomic Kitten (I may be wrong about this). The other Eurovision song is from 2005 and is two places higher at #77, this now leaves one remaining Eurovision related song (i think!). The Saturdays are at #78 with 'One Shot' from first floptastic album 'Wordshaker', an album which I think everyone tries to forget existed, but this album track has done well enough to make it into this final countdown! There are several more songs to come from them later. And finally, the first of three entries from the Irish girlgroup B*witched, 'Blame It On The Weatherman' was their fourth UK #1 and made them the first group to have their first four singles enter the charts at #1. INTERESTING FACTS AHOY. If it's incorrect take it up with Wikipedia. Edited July 2, 201213 yr by Casey__
July 2, 201213 yr I adore Some Kinda Rush, Hush Hush;Hush Hush, Bootie Call and Blame It On The Weatherman, all rather underrated imo
July 2, 201213 yr Don't think I've ever seen that alternate video to Say It Again, it looks exactly like the It's Gonna Be My Way video! The one I remember has them in an apartment.
July 2, 201213 yr Losing A Friend and Blame It On The Weatherman are criminally low, but then I do adore a full blown girl group ballad!

Firstly, at #75 The Saturdays debut single, which I actually really like and also surprised to see get this far! Next is the first of nine Spice Girls songs in this countdown, it's the first song to receive maximum points and crash out. Don't be too upset AARONTM! Next is the RnB group The 411 with the amazing song 'Dumb', who 'r Aled' was named after for YEARS (even after their third and last single limped in at #23 on the charts). Sugababes and Destiny's Child are at 72 and 71 respectively, both with imo dreadful songs. Edited July 6, 201213 yr by Casey__
July 6, 201213 yr Buzzjack has such bad taste in Destiny's Child songs. I like "Lose My Breath", but it's nowhere near as good as their early singles, yet it's still to come, whilst two of their best have already been :(

It's good but it's no 'Don't You Love Me' which unfortunately didn't make it through. Next is Aly & AJ with one of the best pop songs of the last five years. 'Potential Break Up Song' has somehow become a night out anthem in my house ! It definitely deserves to be higher. I'm also shocked to see it's had 42 MILLION hits on Youtube! At #68 is Destiny's Child again with 'Say My Name'. THEO will be mad Buzzjack, as am I, it's their best song! Atomic Kitten are 67 with 'The Last Goodbye', proving considerably more popular than the double A side 'Be With You' which came 88th. It's also my fave Atomic Kitten song. The Honeyz final appearance is 'Finally Found', their debut single which peaked at #4 in the UK charts. Edited July 6, 201213 yr by Casey__
July 7, 201213 yr Buzzjack has such bad taste in Destiny's Child songs. I like "Lose My Breath", but it's nowhere near as good as their early singles, yet it's still to come, whilst two of their best have already been :('Lose My Breath' is the ultimate Destiny's Child song, imo. It's fantastic! The production is absolutely immense! It's just so slick and ahhh. I love it so much  All the rest of their songs seem incredibly overrated! Especially their older stuff like 'Bootylicious', 'Say My Name', 'Survivor' (*Vomit*) and 'Independent Women' (*Double Vomit*). 'Lose My Breath' still sounds like it could be a hit. Shame to see personal favourites 'Losing A Friend' (although expected :(), 'The Last Goodbye' and 'Angel Of Mine' (which I'm surprised isn't a little higher - I expected top 50 :() fall out so early on. Surprised Aly & AJ haven't done better tbh. I genuinely thought it was a popular, buzzjack track! Clearly not.
July 8, 201213 yr HUGE SHAME ON ME. I didn't see Aly & AJ' s song in a list. It could be my top 10 in this voting
July 8, 201213 yr 'Potential Breakup Song' is POP PERFECTION. I'm glad BuzzJack at least see it as the huge hit that never was.
