September 11, 201212 yr 75k would be top 10 with EASE, certainly at this time of year anyway. Possibly enough for #1 depending on what else is out that week, but probably top 3. A few; she definitely won't be #1 though: GOOD Music - Cruel Summer The Killers - Battle Born Michael Jackson – Bad25 Nelly Furtado – The Spirit Indestructible Pink – The Truth About Love I'm thinking about pre-ordering this, it'd be one of the first few 2012 albums that I've actually bought which is pretty shocking (but only speaks about the quality of what's been released. I'll likely buy some other albums from earlier in the year when they're on sale). Edited September 11, 201212 yr by THEO.
September 11, 201212 yr She has 3 songs top 40 on iTunes right now. That is not flopping. I didn't say Carly herself was flopping, I said 'This Kiss' was. Learn to read. That said "flopping" is overly harsh anyway and "mildly underperforming" is probably more accurate. I'd be happy with 75k for the album personally, that would be a good solid start for her.
September 11, 201212 yr I do agree actually with how huge Call Me Maybe was, I think This Kiss should probably be higher than it is right now, even with no promo/airplay. It's doing well and I won't deny that, I just thought that maybe it would be doing better.

September 11, 201212 yr I didn't say Carly herself was flopping, I said 'This Kiss' was. Learn to read. Drop the attitude please. I read your message perfectly :) I was alluding more to you being worried about album sales. This song came out of nowhere and is already #28 on iTunes. I don't see that as an under performance. September 11, 201212 yr The performance of a new song on iTunes is indicative of how large an artist's fanbase is. 'This Kiss' struggling to go top thirty would suggest Carly getting big sales is rather unlikely.
September 12, 201212 yr Author Wow! What an incredible album! It is just perfect my tastes and already is one of my favourite albums ever! That may sound a silly thing to say but it genuinely is that fantastic for me! Absolutely can't wait for the CD to arrive in a few days!! :cheer:
September 12, 201212 yr There are a few tracks in the middle that I'm not really bothered about (including the Justin duet which is disappointing). My favourites so far are the singles, 'Tiny Little Bows', 'Curiosity' (although the original is better having now listened to that), 'Guitar String/Wedding Ring' & 'Your Heart Is A Muscle'.
September 12, 201212 yr Sounds really good but if she wanted to increase sales she should have included this 3ph_9PaCLtE Branching out her market to the thug misses
September 12, 201212 yr It's a nice enough, little pop album. Nothing groundbreaking though. But there's some nice, not so dated, sounding songs on here. My favourite non 'Call Me Maybe' or 'Good Time' song is probably 'Tonight I'm Getting Over You'. I can see this growing on me pretty quickly. I know this gets brought up loads of times, but her voice is SO much like Diana Vickers, it's unreal. This could quite easily be the cousin to 'Songs From the Tainted Cherry Tree' or something (that's definitely not a bad thing in my books either).
