I suspect Adele will finish ridiculously high due to being the most recent number 1 on there! (And one of 2 from 2000's+!) I don't know if she'll win. I'm putting my support in Britney! Such a timeless classic.

Kylie's is the most overrated one on there! :( (Well second behind Queen 'Bohemian Rhapsody' - but I can see why that song is considered such a classic though)
Has to be ABBA surely? Not that that's their best song by any means. Hey Jude is FAAAAAAAR from being the Beatles' best too.

I think all can be justified as classics which at least makes the list a good one, but in terms of quality of songs... only Britney or Kylie would get casual listens from me and MAYBE MJ at a push (but I don't rly like MJ), the rest are all a bit worn out now

Everyone's saying Kylie (which I can deal with) but Britney is waaay out in force... own up :kink:

I definitely see what you mean. Mega YAY at someone else not liking MJ!! :D None of them are my personal highlights from each artist (All of them have better, save for Adele, but I'm not counting her as I do believe she's too recent, but she made this list so fair play to her.) Not even Britney. It's in my top 10 Britney songs, but "only" about 9th or 10th I think. (But she's my 2nd favourite artist ever so everything in her top 10, is a 10 out of 10 moment for me *.*).

I've always had a slight dislike towards 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' though. It's just so dull for a dance track. The production is decent I guess, but everything else just sounds so lifeless and the "won't you staaaaaaaaaay" parts send off a little shrill in her nasaly voice and it's awful, to me. Then airplay got hold of it... OMG there was no escaping it! But I'd still rather that song did it more than 'Hey Jude', 'Bohemian Rhapsody', 'Dancing Queen' (One of my ultimate worst songs ever! No joke) or 'Billie Jean'.

Wasn't there already a thread about this ages ago? Anyway, Queen to win. Cliché but deserved.
'Dancing Queen' is my favourite from the list but I wouldn't mind Britney, Oasis, John Lennon or MJ. Not so keen on any of the others these days.

Found the old thread (http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=141135) and found my post predicting the top 10 in no order:

In alphabetical order, I'm going to predict the top 10 will be:

Billie Jean

Bohemian Rhapsody

Dancing Queen

Hey Jude

(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction

I Will Always Love You

Imagine

Jailhouse Rock

Nothing Compares 2 U

Someone Like You

It'll be the same old winner (Bohemian Rhapsody or Imagine).

7/10, not too bad! Missed out Britney, Kylie and Oasis which I should have got really, but I'm a bit surprised The Rolling Stones and Sinéad O'Connor didn't make it! Glad the latter didn't though. No idea what I was thinking predicting 'Jailhouse Rock' to make the top 10 over Britney/Kylie/Oasis.

Kylie. My guilty pleasure forever

01. Kylie Minogue

02. Adele

03. ABBA

04. Whitney Houston

05. Queen

06. John Lennon

07. Beatles

08. Oasis

09. M. Jackson

10. Britney

CGYOMH is probably the most overrated song EVER, ngl.

For me it has to be Britney, Adele/Abba/Whitney would be great too, I like them all though aside from Kylie.

ITV must have time on their hands to want to come up, with something so boring. Bring's to mind that "Gold" station in London! Notice they don't have the Glitter in this poll. Oh, the terror of TV!
