Liam should have sung "DLBIA"

Phew!!! #3 Adele - Someone Like You

So its between Queen and Michael Jackson

Queen & MJ top 2 then! the ITV advert did give it away completely  I'm supporting Queen, but not sure which way this will go.

Adele defined 2011's music and I have no doubt Someone Like You will become an all time classic and be still very high in these lists in years to come. But I think its just a little bit too recent to call it the best number 1 ever...

Have to admit, there was something special about Adele's Brit Awards performance that struck a massive chord. I even bought '21' that same week and it didn't disappoint. It helped that 'Rolling In The Deep' was also a massive hit at the time too.

I do prefer 'Someone Like You' performed live as the slight change to the chorus sounds better than it does on the album version.

I'd rather Adele had won over Queen if I'm honest, I've never encountered such an overrated track as BoRhap... Billie Jean was my favourite in the top 10 though so would be lovely if it won instead.
"Billie Jean" was the song that I voted for- shame it lost out to "Bohemian Rhapsody" which whilst it's good I've never warmed to. Nevermind.
I guess you cant argue with its popularity. Its certainly not my fave number 1.Nor My fave Queen track I prefer "Someone To Love".

Haters to the left please (Dandy*) :P

I of course understand how it wouldn't appeal to some, but to me, it still sounds absolutely incredible today and I still don't think it sounds like ANYTHING else I've heard before. A worthy winner

Not really my favourite Queen track I would have been happy with Billie Jean at #1, out of the 2 tracks.

Hearing the song again, the only section of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' I really like is the guitar riff after the opera section (where it goes "so you think you can stop me and spit in my eye").

Have to agree with others, 'BoRhap' is ok but Queen have many other singles in their back catelogue I prefer more.

I still sing about the Devil's Sideboard in the opera bit!

I've not actually ever listened to that queen song on full. The small parts I have heard did sound epic though!

Bohemian Rhapsody is just a classic bit of music. Completly bonkers and so different to anything else thats ever been commercially successful.

I remember my housemates and I sining it in it's entirety on a bus trip into town when i lived in Manchester as a student. Still sticks in my mind today.
